Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and i am so excited to be pregnant with my first child. My husband, Lance and i have been married for almost four years. Although we have no idea what we're doing and what to expect, everyday is bringing us closer to holding our little one. I'm feeling pretty good too. The second trimester has been great to me. Not long until i find out what i'm having. I can't wait to start shopping.

June 12th,

I'm so excited because not only is today my 4th Anniversary but i also found out this week that i'm having a baby girl. There for a while i really thought i was having a boy but as the u/s appointment neared i started to feel that maybe my baby was a girl. Boy was i right. She was so sweet too. My little angel slept for most of the u/s but occationally she flung her little arms around and kicked her legs out. My husband and i were trying to get a look at her face but she kept covering herself with her arms. When she finally did move her arms she gave us the sweetest yawn we'd ever seen. After the u/s my husband and i celebrated by purchasing a few baby girl outfits. One of them says, "mommy's sweetie" and the other says, "daddy's little princess". So cute. I can't wait to see her again. Shes quite active now too. Not so much during the days but at night she kicks my butt. Maybe we have a future soccer star on our hands. I can't wait to see my sweet angel again.

ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!!

Thank you and your welcome.

Yeah 16 weeks does seem pretty early to even see your tummy move. That does make me wonder if she's further along. I have heard of some 2nd time mothers being able to feel the flutters early like that, but never any more movement than that.

I agree with you... but damnit I want to lose this weight plus some after I have Lukas so maybe I just might haah but then again, I don't want to have a boob lift later on in life :)

I too roll out of bed with this ball of a belly. It is funny but I'm not used to it yet so my tummy hits my legs and its annoying. I am the same being careful when I move, it doesnt take much does it

I also experienced some painful contractions in the middle of my pregnancy, but they went away if I got up and started to move around. That was how I knew they were not the real thing. When I got the real labor contractions, they did not go away. The night before I had my baby I was up all night just trying to get through it all. But I have my beautiful daughter here and that is all that matters.

Elsa is doing great. When I first brought her home from the hospital I was a little overwhelmed, but we have been learning little things along the way, and also learning our daughter's personality. It is exciting. She smiles all of the time now.

I am looking forward to exchanging birth pictures.

That is pretty early. I never felt flutters either. It was just like my stomach started moving in one spot or something. On my 20 week ultrasound my nurse told me to expect to feel movement within a few weeks and sure enough, she was right on.

I think they move a lot around between high and low so its hard to tell unless you feel the hard lump somewhere. Anastasia pushes up and out and I can see my stomach distend so I know where she is. I'm nit waddling but getting up I feel like I need a forklift to help :)

Yeah we knew it wouldn't be easy. But to be truthful when I think about it other than the last month his experience with the Army has been a good one. I love being married to a soldier. He hasn't been deployed overseas yet, but I know that it is inevitable and they are telling him next year. I've had a awful time finding any t shirts or anything that are army wife, so I have been making them for myself. Have you ever heard of Army Wives Forum? I am a member there and really enjoy it. It's so good to talk to other ladies that understand the hardships of being married to the Army! Your should look it up. My screenname is PAULSBABY. I love it. Anyway I let you go for now. By the way I love the new belly pic!!! So Cute! Give Cadence a hug for me! :)

its ok i was loseing weight when i found out i was pregnant and my stupid OBGYN thinks I'm like starving my child or something... I've only gained like 3.2 LBS and i'm huge but he does not like that.. blah blah blah, I hate the fact that they want to control EVERYTHING! yes i understand they have the PHD and I don't but gee it's annoying!

csmith08 - Tuesday, 15 July
That is awesome!! I should of known that, considering why whole family is military, haha oh well, something new i learned today.. how are you feeling though? are you getting tired yet? I'm soo tired I dont' want to work anymore.. my OBGYN is making me see someone to tell me to eat better, i can't think of the name right now... He made me do a Food Diary, haha I couldn't lie about it so I put down EVERYTHING that I eat... I never knew how much money I spend at McDonalds.. I mean i eat their salad there (ok and a cheeseburger to go with it hahaha) but its spendy!!

dcarr0404 - Tuesday, 15 July
HAHA! Be glad you're not as big as me...I feel like I whale! I've been really good!! How about you?? You enjoying being pregnant so far?

csmith08 - Tuesday, 15 July
yeah lets not talk about birth haha Brian was like 8.8 and his sister was 10 lbs. his mom had all 5 of them natural and Brian was the smallest EEKK I'm really scared!! Thanks, Brian thought of the name, His favorite book in the Bible is Luke so we thought why not Lukas and then I thought of the spelling, it's German for "in the light" which I thought was kinda cool!! I like the name you picked out for your little girl. I have never heard that name before, I can see it matching a little princess! haha

dcarr0404 - Tuesday, 15 July
 Awww you finally look pregnant!!!

If you are having braxton hick contractions they are not supposed to hurt. If I were you I would call the dr. and let them nkow how you are feeling. I guarantee that they are going to want to see you.

vanessag7 - Tuesday, 15 July
lol, I get Anastasia moving around a lot but sometimes i cant feel her so i worry. I bought a doppler which is the best thing i ever got, i can listen to her heart beat and hear her kicks when i cant feel them. She has taken to sitting up high now and pushing out so i can feel her body and her neck and head through my stomach. It's so cool.
You and I will be waddling around very soon and not being able to put socks on. How funny will that be...

vanessag7 - Tuesday, 15 July
 I'm about the same size.

vanessag7 - Tuesday, 15 July
It's not nice hey, mine is more like a bruising so its constant and annoying. I was in maternity clothes since I was about 14 weeks. I'm huge.

vanessag7 - Tuesday, 15 July
In a few days, I have no idea what the calf pains are supposed to be about.
how are you going? I have a lot of growing pains which are a pain in the neck

Love78 - Tuesday, 15 July
Do you ever find yourself sleeping on your back? I know that can put pressure and cause pain in my lower back. Did you just feel that pain once? I haven't had any braxton hicks contractions yet. I am just waiting for the moment though because I'm still pretty active and some of the girls that I spoke with who were further along had them starting around 30 weeks when they exercised so I'm sure it is a matter of time for me. I do get shooting pains every now and then it what seems lower more like the vaginal area. I don't know what those are, but they don't last long either. I never think about asking the doctor about those either. Sometimes when my baby is really active she will upset my stomach, but I haven't really felt pain from her kicking yet. Feeling her move around is such a strange feeling. How long have you been feeling your baby move?
