Birth story!!

Well on Dec 22nd I was at my friends Christmas party and I was having contractions 3-5 mins part. They were getting stronger. Well me and my friend walked outside and I felt a pain like my pelvic was cracking so I told my friend that I think I need to go to the hospital. So around 8:45 I started to head to the hospital I got there at 9:00 and by the way it was storming outside. So when I got there they hooked me up to the montior and timed my contractions. They were still 3-5 mins aprt. So the nusre checked me and I wass 2cm and 80% effaced. So the nurse told me to get up and walk for about 1 hour and come back and she will check me. Well here I was me, my husband and my 2 friends walking the hallway at the hospital. Well the contractions were coming stronger about 2 mins apaart. So the hour pasted and when I got back to the room the nurse checked me again and she said that she was going to keep me and she out me in a room. So I called my family to come up there. Around 11 the nurse came in and checked me I was 4cm and asked if I would like a epidural and I told her yes. So I got my epidural and I was so happy. It really works and didnt hurt that much. Well around 12 the nurse checked me again and I was 5cm So she told me to get some rest and she will be in later. So arond 1 she came back and I was 7cm so she said that she was going to give me some Pytocin. Well I was stuck on 7cm for the longest. I finally hit 10cm around 10:30 in the morning on Dec 23rd. So the nurse told me to start pushing well I pushed for about an hour and 30 mins and she told me to stop pushing that the babys head was right there and she needed to call the doctor. Well finally the doctor showed up and 15 mins of pushing the baby came out. I watch the whole thing in the mirror. What an expirience!! I didnt feel anything through the whole thing. Kayla was born on Dec 23rd at 11:45am.
