Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

o thanks. yea they do offer STD but when i asked about it i was told that it would be taken out of my 12 week FMLA leave, and if they do that, my 12 weeks wont cover up through my second estimated due date. i feel kinda screwed :(

I agree with you. That doesn't make sense. Not to worry you, but my friend had to be induced when she reached 5cm because the doctor said that being dilated that much and walking around ran the risk of the umbilical cord sliding out if her water were to break. That would put an enormous strain on the baby and put the mother in an awkward position. Can you imagine trying to sit in a car with your baby's umbilical cord under you? That's pretyy rare, but so is any doc letting you go about normal business while dilated that much. Are you sure he didn't mean .25-.3 cm?

Thanks for the chicken pox comment. If you had a mild case as a child, then you may not have developed immunity. I had a moderate case as a child and was exposed several more times after that, so I am pretty sure the I am safe.

Well i got told that we have 60-70 percent chance of having a girl but as the bub was moving so much it was hard to tell and it was hard to get all the measurements so i have to go back in 4 weeks time

Hi there i see we have our ultrasounds the same day i am in Austrlia so mine is actually a day before urs lol i hope everything is fine with ur scan and that there r no probs good luck with finding out the sex i know i cant wait to see what it is

THanks so much for answering my question! I was so upset last night, it's embarrasing to think something is wrong and then have it all go away! I suppose it's better than having something seriously wrong tho! I wasn't aware that braxton hicks happened this soon!
