Sunday, 20 July I understand completely! IBS can be very tough!!! I've been dealing with it for about 12 years now, and have been to the doctor for it several times. I just kept getting told to take fiber for it, but it never worked. So I finally got diagnosed with it in November - one week before I found out I was pregnant. I never took my medication b/c I suspected I was pregnant once I had it filled. I asked my OB about it, and he said not to take it. Anyhow, I hope to have some relief from IBS once my baby is born and I can start the medication. The really bad contractions did remind me of IBS at it's worst. A lot of people don't seem to understand the pain IBS causes. Good luck and I hope your labor goes as smoothly as possible! BoyStruckX2 -
Saturday, 19 July I would listen to the midwife? It is most dangerous in the second trimester. And it helps that you have already had chicken pox. Just pay attention to your body :) coltonsmom -
Saturday, 19 July I'd have the Dr. paged. That's just me. A midwife doesn't have a medical degree. Good luck with everything! hotpotaaaaato -
Saturday, 19 July With my doc's office, there is always a doctor on call you can leave a message for and they call you back within 30 mins. If you don't have that, and are still worried, there's no harm in going to the hospital. I think better safe than sorry. I'll be thinking of you.. hope it goes well. MelisaK -
Thursday, 17 July Thank you for responding. This is my 3rd but first girl and it is completely different than my boys. I don't like feeling this way.

Tuesday, 24 June I was thinking about using all of that stuff but my fiance said we should take baby steps... I need to figure out why my cycle is so messed up... it's not comfortable at all and extremely confusing. But thanks for that advice and congrats... it's almost time for you. Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl? gr8scottswife -

Thursday, 5 June Everything is provided at the hospital. Go to: http://www.thebabycorner.com/page/277/
My labor was so fast that I didn't use my music or have time to get comfortable. I was very glad that I had my own socks and was able to change into my own nightgown. Blankets/diapers and everything else that you can imagine they will provide for you at your hospital. Congratulations on your pregnancy! NOTE: Older messages are compressed to speed up the website.
