Thursday, 5 June i wouldnt worrie about the weight. with my daughter she was always three weeks behind. she was delivred 6 weeks early and weight 5 lbs 1 ounce which was very good they where exspecting her to be 4 lbs because thats what the ultrasound said. my doctor and ultrasound teck said the ultrasounds arent accurate, they are only guesses, it could be off by a pound at most either way. Aydin is still a week ahead so he is meauring at 31 weeks 1 day and weight 3 1/2 pounds and he was doing his practice breathing which i was happy about becasue my daughter always failed that one lol. i have a pictures from every week too besides this week because he wouldnt move his hands from his face, he was playing peak-a-boo it was cute! i dont know about you but i dont know how i can last another 8 weeks i feel like i am going to exsplode. poor Ayden feels like he has absolulty no room to move lol. well i am going to bed talk to you later, night!

Wednesday, 4 June the doctor said that if i was going to deliver befor 35 weeks then they where going to give me the shots and it came in twos one one day and one 24 hours later? he hasnt put me on procardia or indocin because i am not contracting which i am confused about becasue dont you need contrations in order for your cervix to thin? i have and ultasound tomorrow to see ho very thing is going. i think i would die with worrie if i didint have then once a week i am suck a worrie wort and i love see how he is progressing and growing. i have a hol baby ablum full of just untra sound pictures lol. it was the same with my daughter because i had to go in twice a week for NST and BPP ultrasounds. well have to get Mena (my daughter) to bed i will let you know how thing go tomorrow. good night! mommyoftwo* -
Tuesday, 3 June thanks for the suport. they talked about puting a crelage in but the doctor said i was alittle to far along for one and the dammag was already done. so i just go for untrasound once a week to make sure everything is going to hold strong. at the last one i was messuring 2.0cm so its still thining just not that fast but i know that could change at any second. me and my husband are prepared for the worst and we are just thankfull we have a GREAT NICU here at the hospitable. plus we already know all the doctors and nurses in there from our daughter being in it.i just hope he stayed put another 6 weeks. hope everything gose good for you and your little one too. what are you having ? did your doctor talk to you about steriod shots just in case he/she did come eairly? Monday, 2 June Yes that is exactly what I'm saying. :) You're very welcome!
You did do good to make it to 36 weeks with a cerclage! From 37 weeks on is considered "full term" and from only 34 weeks on they have a good chance of not even needing to be on a breathing machine if they are born early! I've been having some preterm labor scares with this one and I keep telling myself (and this baby) to hang on at least 4 more weeks and he'll be okay! When I hit the 34 week mark I won't have to panic every time I have a contraction anymore. Every week past 34 weeks he makes it is that much better for him, but at least I know after that point he'll be safe!

Monday, 2 June 36 weeks = 8 months pregnant.
A little over 31 weeks is the BEGINNING of the 8th month, but you aren't actually 8 FULL months pregnant until you are 36 weeks!
From 31.5 weeks until 36 weeks is the 8th month. It's confusing. Think of it this way:
From your LMP until 4.5 weeks pregnant is the first month of your pregnancy, but you aren't actually 1 whole month pregnant until you are 4.5 weeks pregnant. So when you are 1 week pregnant you are IN the first month of your pregnancy but you aren't a month along yet. When you turn 4.5 weeks pregnant, it means you are 1 full month pregnant, but that you are starting your second month of pregnancy.
And when you turn 2 months pregnant at 9 weeks, you are 2 months pregnant but you are starting your third month of pregnancy.
When you turn 3 months pregnant at 13.5 weeks, you are starting your 4th month.
When you turn 4 months pregnant at 18 weeks, you are starting your 5th month of pregnancy.
When you turn 5 months pregnant at 22.5 weeks, you are starting your 6th month of pregnancy.
When you turn 6 months pregnant at 27 weeks,, you are starting your 7th month of pregnancy.
When you turn 7 months pregnant at 31.5 weeks, you are starting your 8th month of pregnancy.
When you turn 8 months pregnant at 36 weeks, you are starting your 9th month of pregnancy,
and at 40 weeks you are 9 full months pregnant and if you go overdue you are in your 10th month.
We are in our 7th month of pregnancy right now, but we don't turn 7 months pregnant until 31.5 weeks.
I have a chart on my page regarding this... niseybear -
