Hi my name is Melodee. I am 28 years old. I am a mother of 3 boys 6, 9, &3. What a handful but you gotta love them.

I am currently pregnant with my fifth child! I know your thinking that it doesnt add up.. but i had a baby girl in 2002! Beautiful she was! Pregnancy was a breeze, no problems except a perigestastional bleed at 8wk 5d. Of course this is very common and nothing eventuated from it. I went on to have my daughter at 39 wks. Natural labour no problems at all. She was perfect born at 3.20am on 19 July 2002. This was a hard time for me i had 3 kids under 5 and my middle son has always been a handful. I breast fed Ruby with no problems, i would lay in bed with her at night and look at her because she was all i ever wanted. I quite often fell asleep with her in bed and wake in the morning with my girl looking at me with her beautiful blue eyes. Unfortunatly this was to only last 5 wks i think 34 days to be precise. And i awoke one morning to find Ruby (who this night slept in her own bed) had missed her feed. She had left me and gone on to heaven. This i remember like yesterday! It was obviously the worst time of my life, and it has taken a long time to get me here today. I tried desperatly for another baby not too long after Ruby passed away, I had all this love and no one to give it to! Sure i have my boys but i have my love for them this is baby love and its different. I went on to have 3 miscarriages. And finally in 2004 i had my baby boy, Thomas. He is now 3 and a little on the spoilt side... this is now becoming apparent arghhhhhh ( bit of shit at the moment hehehe)

Now i am pregnant and i am happy with what ever the sex of the baby may be but of course i have my preference. I am hoping its a girl. I am concerened of miscarrying but all ultrasounds are really good! heartbeat is 150 at 9wks no problems at all.

So that is my short run down for now!

Take care all xxxxMore....

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Gorgeous picture of Lilly and her tu-tu on the forum page!

Thats a good way to look at it and I guess that is what pulled you through knowing that things happen for a reason. Do you think having other children helped you get through cause you still had to take care of them?? I have a question if you dont mind me asking - was there anything that contributed to her death eg was she sleeping on her tummy. I think your amazing for what you have gone through, if you ever need to chat I am a great listener. Off that subject - how is Lilly going? how do you cope with 4 children? I would like to have 4 but gee it must be hard work, you would need to be so organised. Lilly really is such a cutie, you must so proud, does she look like you?
Take care

Hi - I was ust searching who was online and seen that you were also from Oz, so thought I'd check your page out.... I am still crying after I read your page, I dont really know what to say except I'm so sorry for your loss, my little girl is 11 weeks and the thought of losing her is unimagineable, I'm so sorry to bring this up and congrats on your beautiful little girl, she is just gorgeous. I still have Katie sleeping in my room as I am absolutely petrified of putting her in her own room. They say things happen for a reason but its not fair that these happen, you are lucky to have 4 other beautiful children, we were going to name Katie, Lilly as it is a beautiful name I also like Charlise very pretty. Congrats again and if you ever feel like a chat, I'm here...

zoey my angel - Tuesday, 5 August
hey how u doin? thanx for the feed back with the whole bubbie in our room, zoey is routined and happy.i know what u mean about wanting them babies, zoey is now in 00, and every time i have to pack away her small clothes i think..nooooo! lol. i think its great you want to do midwifery(?) i had a fantastic lot of midwives with the blair (deceased) and had the same with zoey. your right maybe your gift is with these little bundles of joy..

karenc - Tuesday, 5 August
i think it's wonderful that you want to study midwifery! my birth preparation class was led by a woman who said that after her 2nd child, she just new she wanted to help women have babies. so she became a doula and instructor. i think it's wonderful when you can realize and pursue a dream -- go for it!

I just read your post and your birth story and I had to comment. I went through a similar experience to yours and felt the same way. Honestly, I had my 2nd baby last August and was so traumatized that I didn't put the birth story up until recently. I just wanted to let you know that you are not the only one and it does get better....congratulations!

mammabelly - Thursday, 14 Feb

JadeKiss - Tuesday, 22 Jan
lol. I know what you mean about Heath.

mrsmookie514 - Tuesday, 15 Jan
hey girl! i just read your post, i don't think that it is 'stealing' the name from the other couple, the way that you want to use it, is SHAR-LEEZE, they used CHARLEE, with the CH sound. it doesn't sound the same to me, and it actually means something to both of you to name your babies after someone that you both love. as long as they aren't gonna kick up a stink about it, i think you should name the baby what YOU want to name her, after all, it's been you carrying her for 9 months! personally i like charlize lilly better than marley. that's just my opinion, i wish you a good luck and a safe delivery!! :)
