Hi there. How are you today? I haven't heard from you in a bit, and I thought I'd check in.
I'm doing alright. Today I got my midwives to agree to have me come in for a doppler-only visit. I felt like I was flapping in the wind, and I explained my position (How I carried that expired embryo for four weeks before finding out, and the RE said a tissue sample wouldn't have given useful info after so much time had passed), and they offered me weekly dopplers. I was only asking for one time, maybe next week, to split the four weeks into 2 parts. Well, I'm going in tomorrow and hoping for some good news. I don't know, for some reason the midwife I saw last week was in such a hurry, she didn't want to hear about it.

Oh, thanks for asking. It was emotional, but everything's ok. It was hard to believe, really. I mean, you know about pushing away the possibilities. I had 7 weeks of denial, and then a lady was telling me everything is fine. We got a nice long look at it. Not too many people could understand me when I tell you that I was more surprised ("well, ok if you say so" reflects my current attitude!)than relieved or even happy. Those feelings will come. I'm going to need time. But for now, we're all ok.

Hey there, thanks so much for checking in! I'm doing well. Getting anxious for the "big day." Gotta be patient though... I also started a new job yesterday. I can't believe I'm taking on a new job at this point, but it was a great opportunity so I couldn't pass it up. Plus they're still giving me 12 wks off after baby is here. Can't complain about that! I wish it was more. But my hubby is a teacher, so he'll be home w/ me all summer, plus he gets an add'l 12 wks after that! So he gets to be home for 6 mos. I'm jealous. But I'm glad the baby will have at least one of us home for 6 mos.
How are you doing? Anything new? I pray you & your family are doing well...

Hey, great to hear from you. Good luck with school... how much more do you have? Do you work & go to school? I did & found it to be a lot to balance! But somehow you just make it work...
I totally know what you mean about just knowing you'll be blessed w/ something at some point. I have no doubt you will get your twins. Just a question of when. It's in God's hands! I'm sure your faith helps you through this type of thing... I know it really helped me after my m/c.
Yeah, I went from nothing to massive as far as the pregnant-belly goes! It's amazing how big I've gotten. I'm fairly short-waisted so s/he really has nowhere to go but straight out! I swear I'm growing out of maternity clothes... crazy!

omg 1st off i want to say im so sorry for your loss. i totally agree with you when it comes to appreciating your children. i lost my twins at 17weeks 5 months ago and it was the worst worst feeling in the world. im crying right now because it still hurts inside. i cant imagine losing 4. your a strong woman and i commend you for that.my heart goes out to you and your family you will be in my prayers god bless and hope that god blesses you with one soon.
ps have you heard of the cervical cerclauge where they stich up your cervix? maybe for the next time it will work research it and let me know. god bless

Laddgirl, I don't know what to say. You have experienced what all pregnant women fear the most: the loss of their baby. All I can say is that God has a plan for you and he loves you very much. Keep praying and never give up hope!! Keep trying, my friends mom had 3 mc's in a row, than a healthy baby, than another m/c, than a 2nd healthy baby. Dont ask why this happened to you but embrace it and think positive for the future. I wish you the best and I will pray for you.

I'm sorry to hear about your lose. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a baby. I had a scare a few weeks ago with some spotting and I was terrified at what might be happening. Thankfully everything is all right with my little one. It will happen for you, don't give up hope. God Bless.

Hey there, I'm doing well, thanks for checking in! I'm actually getting a bit of swelling in my legs & feet at the end of the day which is not a pleasant experience. And, yeah, belly is gettin' in the way these days, but you're right - it's all worth it! How are you feeling? Just think, you'll be in the 2nd trimester in about another month! Have you found out if you've been blessed with one or two yet?
