It's a Girl!!!!

Eleanor Leighanne is moving a lot these days! I spent yesterday making a baby shower cake for a friend of mine... (photos on my blog http://daboydsnest.blogspot.com). We got our first baby gift from my sis this week, our travel system! WOW! :-)

Is this your first pregnancy?: Yes
When did you find out you were pregnant?: June 17, 2007. I got to tell Hubby he would be a dad on Father's day!
Was it planned?: yep
What was your first reaction?: Disbelief. I was throwing away the test thinking it was impossible and I'd wasted it when the light from the window shone on the extra line...
Who was with you when you found out?: No one
Who was the first person you told?: Hubby -- I was to wake him up for work and I usually do this little "what do you want for breakfast" thing. He kept saying he didn't want any of the things I offered so I said "wife?" and he grunted. I said "what about pregnant wife"? and he sat straight up, eyes wide open, and said "ARE YOU?!" It was great.
How did your parents react?: Dad was shocked, especially cause my sis is pregnant too and we told him at the same time!
How far along are you?: 24 weeks 3 days today....
What was your first symptom?: Nausea
What is your due date?: Late February--they keep changing it on me
Do you know the sex of the baby?: Yep!
If so, what is it?: A girl!
Have you picked out names?: Yep!
If so, what are they?: Eleanor Leighanne... unless hubby decides she doesn't "look" like an Ella. :-)
How much weight have you gained?: 13 pounds
Do you have stretch marks?: Yes
Have you felt the baby move?: Yes
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yep, we had a baby beat for a while.
About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: of course
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: I'm hoping for natural, but probably medicated!
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: Hubby
Will you breastfeed?: Yes
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I hope not
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: I'm sure
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: Hi Ella!
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: No
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: excited but nervous
