12/07/07 I am so short of breath lately! My belly is getting so big and I still have 4 months to go. He has been moving around so much lately! It's so exciting to know that I am having a boy again, my son is 8 years old! We have decide that his first name will be MICAH. We are still deciding on a middle name....

12/13/07 I have been getting mild back pains, but it is tolerable...I suppose it is from starting to carry extra weight in the front and using my back muscles more. Thank the Lord I still have not gained any weight yet! I am sure that I will put on at least 5-7 pounds by the end of next month. I still feel pretty sexy for 6 months preggo! My husband thinks so too...I can't get him to leave me alone!

12/15/07 Wow, it seems like my belly grew overnight! My navel is starting to be pushed out further, I think that this pregnancy I will end up with an outty belly by the time I am full term...I feel like I ate an 18-wheeler. I actually have to make myself eat because I have a full feeling all the time....I am so out of breath-- I can't pick up my 2 yr old like before...she wears me out...I end up breathing like I ran a 50-yard dash! I tossed and turned last night and I MICAH was so active the whole time I was up! He is never awake in the middle of the night. And I cannot get comfortable...I just can't sit in one position more than 5 minute or I feel like I can't breathe....this is going to be a big baby!

12/16/07 I have been cramping all day in my pelvis on and off. Is anyone else's breast getting sore again? Mine are killing me! I am going to weigh myself again this week....so far so good...no weight gain!

12/18/07 Oh my goodness...I got on the scale today and I gained 2 pounds! I am going to try to gain no more than 4 pounds a month for the next 4 months!

12/20/07 Whew! The back pain has went away, but I am getting a few twinges in my pelvis here and there. Other than that I feel great! Micah has really been kicking harder and more frequently. We are still debating on middle names....I am thinking maybe: Micah Vicente or Micah Antonio. We still have some time though...his daddy is so indecisive!

12/26/07 Stepped on the scale again yesterday evening, and I have gained a total of 4 pounds. I feel like I am a lot bigger than 22 weeks, everyone that sees me says that there is NO way I am going to make it until Aptil 26th! I actually agree with them! I am thinking I may go until the end of March at the latest! I have been feeling pretty good, and Micah is extra active now, I can feel him rolling around and kicking constantly now.

1/02/08 Micah has been stretching so much, and I can feel him in my right rib now. I am at a total gain of 6 pounds now..Only 3 more months to go and my baby is here!

1/07/08 Seems like Micah is trying to turn around to face head down this week---I have been feeling his little feet in my right side a lot. Yay! I am still at a weight gain of 6 pounds....I am working out 4 times a week doing Pilates and Water Aerobics. I will be 7 months on my birthday (January 11th)! I am so excited. My belly has started to itch a little, but I have been packing on layers of Palmer's Tummy Butter at least twice a day! It has really been helping me not get stretch marks...

1/11/08 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Today I am feeling really good, I just can't get comfortable when I am sitting anymore..even driving is becoming annoying! I am up to a total weight gain of 8 pounds now. It seems like I went to sleep and overnight my belly grew! I am thinking maybe ne might have truned head first now--my stomach look like it has a watermelon in it! In the meantime, we are still trying to decide on a middle name. Anyways, I hope that everyone is doing well!

1/18/08 I had veen getting some headaches...I think because I was not getting enough rest-- the last few days have been really busy. I weighted myself at the gym yeserday, and I am up to a total wight gain of 11 pounds....I guess that I may have to make my goal 25 pounds instead of 20 pounds :0( I have been getting really uncomfortable at night as well, so I am not getting good rest these days. I have had some serious heartburn lately. He is going to have a head full of hair! I also haven't really been able to cuddle with my hubby at night, because I prop up pillows all around me just to get confortable!

1/24/08 Lost 1 pound! So now I am back to a total gain of 10 pounds! Maybe Pilates is paying off a little! My belly is still getting HUGE. I have been really gassy....seems like I am warning hubby every hour....lol ....my breasts have been leaking a little today as well. I looked down and my shirt was wet! I have also been playing with Micah...I press my womb and he pushes back with his feet! He even did it for daddy, too! He has turned head down and likes to camp out on the right side. I am so ready to hold him and kiss him :0)

1/31/08 Pregnancy has been pretty peaceful lately, other than the braxton hicks and occasional heartburn. I have not weighed myself again lately.. Micah is beginning to kick me a lot harder lately and he has also been having the hiccups! Most of my fatigue has went away as well. Daddy has been doing most of the sleeping! My next doctor's appointment is Feb 4th...I am dreading stepping on the scale!

Below are all of the pregnancy symptoms that I have had since day one...hopefully this helps someone know that they are not alone!

fatigue, breathlessness, food cravings, flatulence, constipation, fetal hiccups, leg cramps, nasal congestion, strong sense of smell, heartburn, veiny boobs, colostrum leaking from breasts, linea nigra, braxton hicks, cramps and pelvic pain, back pain, vaginal discharge, frequent urination, mood swings ............ I am sure that I will be adding more later, lol

2/04/08 Today I had my 28 weeks appointment...I start going every two weeks now...everything was well with Micah. The heartbeat was strong, and I convinced my doctor to order another ultrasound so I could know the current size and weight of the baby. So I am getting an ultrasound next week on Tuesday, February 12th. I now have gained a total of 12 pounds gained since day 1. Amen! I am really doing well on my weight gain...as a matter of fact, I will be in Pilates in the morning!

2/12/08 Hubby & I went to our ultrasound today! He is going to look like his daddy-=-I will post pics soon! He is also going to be greedy...Micah was in there again with his mouth wide open drinking fluid! Heartbeat was 156 bpm, and he weighs 3lbs 6oz. I was so excited to see him moving all over the place...whew, only 2 months left!

2/19/08 I went to another OB appointment yesterday. My doctor said that everything is going well and he is estimating that Micah will weigh 7.5 to 8 lbs at birth. My glucose test was fine...however, he did say that I am a little anemic. I have been wondering why I have been so exhausted lately. It is not bad enough to where I need to take iron pills, but I need to eat more rich in iron foods. I am up to a total weight gain of 15 pounds now...I guess I will have gained maybe 25 pounds total by the time Micah gets here. Only 8 more weeks to go---yay!!!!

2/25/08 Where did all these Braxton Hicks come from? And not to mention the hot flashes and heartburn! Micah has moved down into my pelvis, and boy can I feel it! I feel evertime that he moves his head...it seems like I am carrying a bowling ball around between my legs! I will know soon when I will have my c-section. I can't wait. Only 7 weeks lieft since I will be having a c-xection.

2/27/08 I was looking back at my pregnancy journal that I had when I had my 2 year old daughter, and at 31 weeks with her I had gained 24 pounds and I have gained 15 pounds so far. That is almost a 10 pound difference. The eating right and exercising has really paid off!

3/03/08 I had a doctor's appointment today. My doctor said that Micah is going to be a big baby! I lost a pound so I am back down to 14 pounds gained. He also said my delivery will be getting scheduled on Friday for sometime in April before I am 39 weeks (April 18th) so I am extra excited about that. Only a little over a month to go!

3/07/08 I went for my consultation today...my c-scetion will be April 16th @ 8:30am. I'm soooooo happy....I can go to the Tye Tribbett/Kirk Franklin concert! And now I can really finish planning. He said that Micah is going to be my biggest baby...so thank goodness my due date was moved up ;0)

3/10/08 I woke up at 3am starving! I tried to ignore it, but Micah was moving all over the place, and my stomach wouldn't stop growling! I have also started having hot flashes...we had some friends over for dinner yesterday after church and I was the only one sweating...lol..this week I am going to get my bags together. I am just so ready to see my son :0)

3/15/08 Somebody give me some scissors so that I can cut all my hair off...I'm HOT! I walk around sweating all day now and I have clothes! I am always hot like this around my last month of pregnancy. Well, on the flipside, my Tye Tribbett tickets came in the mail yesterday...and boy am I hyped up about it! My next appointment is on Monday. I wonder if my doctor is going to check me to see if I have dialated or not. I am at a total gain of 19 pounds now. I don't know what happened...lol...I have been eating more though

3/22/08 Finally the heartburn has went away! My breast are leaking again though. Ugh, so annoying! I am sure that Micah is at least 6 pounds now and I am still at the same weight as my last journal entry. My baby shower is in less than 2 weeks....I can't wait! I am so ready to see my little boy!

3/25/08 I am really sore down below and my tailbone is sore to the touch! My boy is really low now--I will find out on 3/31 if I have dialated. Micah can you please stay in until after the Tye concert? Lol!I am ready to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes and not feel like a whale! I ate some brocolli and cheese rice and steak for dinner last night...I dont think that Micah liked the brocolli...I haven't really ate brocolli my whole pregnancy, and it made my stomach woosy!

3/26/08 I was having regular contractions last night from about 8:30p to 11:00p 3 to 4 minutes apart...I was going to wait until midnight and then go to the hospital because I did not want to make a blank trip...how bout they went away? Grrr...

3/31/08 My doctor's appointment was today. Micah is estimated by my doc to be 8 to 8 1/2 pounds by April 16th. As far as my cervix, well that really has not changed....but I still have two weeks for things to change. I suppose it really doesn't matter if I am having a c-section, huh? My baby shower is going to be Saturday, April 5th....so once that happens I cannot officially have our bags completely packed. So far we have decided to name him Micah Antonio. Antonio is hubby's first name. I wanted him to have some of his daddy's Panamanian culture in his name....I am so glad this is almost finally over!

4/04/08 I have been feeling sooooo drained the last 2 days....I have some things that I still need to do around the house before Micah gets here, but I just haven't felt like it. I don't feel like doing too much of anything! Well I am up to a total weight gain of 24 pounds....I many go a little over my goal of 25 pounds in this next week...I guess that I got pretty close to my goal :0) My baby shower is tomorrow and I am excited! We also booked our hotel room yesterday for the Tye Tribbett concert! I simply cannot wait until April 12th. I am going to be in the VIP section shouting and praising God with a big belly! Tye here I come!!!

4/06/08 My shower yesterday was so nice. I got sooo much stuff for Micah that I may have to end up giving some of it away...I didn't get a lot of pampers at the shower, but this morning after church I went home with 5 huge packs of diapers and more gift bags of clothes! Wow, what a blessing it is...I shouldn't need to buy pampers for months! I took pics that I will post later. I finally put his carseat and our bags in the car, so we are ready to go at any moment!

4/08/08 Ok it is official....his name is going to be Micah Antonio. I am so glad my husband finally made his mind up! I am also at a total weight gain of 24 pounds...I am trying hard to not go over 25!

4/11/08 Gosh, I had some serious heartburn last night! I slept pretty good though. I am going to estimate that Micah will be between 7 lbs 6oz-7lbs 8oz. Everyone is trying to make him a 9 lb baby! I don't think that he is going to be that big...I think that he will be long though...his daddy is pretty tall. Well, I am going to be packing for my out of town trip to the concert tonight. Yay! I know it is the last thing that I will be doing for a while so I am going to make the best of it!

4/14/08 We got back from the concert yesterday... it was AWESOME!!! God is so good! I was able to get a lot of pictures of Tye Tribbett...we cried and priased and it blessed me so!...We didn't stay to see Kirk because my feet started hurting (we have already seen him in concert anyway) .But the Lord really showed up & Tye showed out! My other blessing cames after we left the concert. We went to eat at Golden Corall and ran into Tye's entire group of singers eating inside! They all gave me blessings on my delivery of the baby and a safe trip back home. One of the girls told me that she discerned that my baby was going to be a prophet and asked me if it was a girl or a boy. I told her that I have already been told twice that my son was going to be a prophet, and that is also why he has a prophet name- Micah...wow, who would have thought it!

4/18/08 Micah Antonio Kea is here! He was born April 16th@ 9:54am,7lb 7oz, 18 inches I will post pics as soon as possible. We are resting right now....

4/22/08 Micah is officially1 week old! Today I went to get my staples out., and boy was it a relief! They were so uncomfortable.. Micah is doing so good at night. He only wakes up twice to eat. My husband is acting more protective over him than he when our daughter was born! He is so little and handsome! We think that he looks like Zaniah (my daughter) so far.

4/29/08 Yay!!! I started driving again yesterday. I went by my mom\s house and stepped on the scale--- I have lost 21 pounds! I gained a total of 29 pounds, so I am 8 pounds away to be back to my old self! I still have some small swelling in my lower abdomen from the c-section, but it should go down in the next few days and then the remaining weight should come off. Micah is doing well...he is a big eater...I am really shocked that my kids have not been acting jealous...my 2-year old daughter is such a big helper. I just need to get some good sleep!!!I feel like a zombie!

5/04/08 I got on the scale yesterday and I shed another 6 pounds. I am on a roll! Only 2 more pounds to go!!! My tummy is so soft now...I can't wait to be able to do ab exercises to get it back in shape! Micah has been sleeping longer, thank God!!!! I can't believe that next week he will be 1 month old already! Boy does time fly! We have to cherish every moment that we have when they are this tiny..

6/06/08 She's gone! I have had the same Pilates instructor for the last 2 years. She is now moving to California this week! I finally find something that works for my body and ***poof*** she disappears!!! I guess that some things are only seasonal....I pray that they find a worthy replacement. This is a conspiracy!!!!
