I HAD MY BABY BOY ON THE 2ND JANUARY 08,HERES MY BIRTH STORY

Type of delivery: Vaginal,no pain relief

Duration of labor: 6hr 35mins

the night before(01/01/08) was laying in bed,my belly was sooo hard,and he was wriggling around like a nutter i couldnt bear it,had a really bad sleep as i was tossing n turning all night,and having irregular contractions,anyway finally got to sleep,woke up in the morning,(02/01/08) at 9am,was having mild contractions,didnt think nothing of it,went to the toilet and had the bloody mucus thing that comes out,i was like oohh am i bleeding,then by 10.30am i was in real bad pain,then i fort oh dis must be it,rang my sis-in-law,told her i fink im in labour,she came down helped me sort out my other 2 children,packed their bags to stay at my mum-in-laws.then i got dressed,phoned the hospital it was about 12.30pm now,they said to come in as the contractions were real bad and coming every 1-3mins,so i called a taxi,arrived at the hospital,when they examined me they said i was 7cm dilated,i was sooo shocked so anyway they moved me to the delivery suite,were in less than an hour i progressed to 9cm,the midwife said the baby is on his way sooner than we think,after about half n hour i started to get the urge to push,along with terrible pain,but the midwife said i cnt push yet as i am only 9cm,i started to get frustrated and started crying lol,as my hormones was getting the better of me,i wanted to get the baby out but i was told i cant ,so i was really upset,n e way bout half hour after that,she had another feel,said,"right you can start pushing"i was over the moon,i had a really big push and my waters broke flying across the room lol had another big push and the head was out,i cudnt stop pushing,and the midwife was telling me to stop,as they need 2 make sure the cord wasnt wrapped around his neck,i tried,but im sure u know what its like ur body is doing all the pushing,i couldnt control it,anyway,out flew the baby,and i heard him cry,then they said omg thats a biigggg baby,weighing in at 8Ib 8oz BIGGEST baby iv ever had,and he is so tall like his dad who is 6ft 5in,now i am paying the price as i have many stitches down below as i ripped badly due to him being so big,anyway apart from that,it all went with success,no pain releif as it was all to quick,i am home now,after spending 24hrs in the hospital,the baby is doin well,i have bad after pains lol and finding it hard to sit down as you can imagine and relieved its all over,but he sure did take me by surprise

NOVEMBER 28TH 07

i am 34 + 1 day,cant wait got 6 weeks left,i been saying all along i know i am gonna have him early i have to see the registrar on friday,because i have had a ceserean with my 1st,and if the baby gets to big then i will have to have 1 as my pelvis is small,which i am worried because with the 2nd i had natural and she weighed 6Ib 6oz,the 1st was only 7Ib 9oz so not much difference but in my body it is,so hopefully my son aint gonna be that big lol,but i think he might be :(

NOVEMBER 30TH 07

i am 34 + 3 weeks,went to see the registrar today,found out i am anaemic so i have to take iron tablets,they givin me a membrane sweep at 38 weeks,we discussed my options as i had a ceserean so they let me know if this baby is big then thats what i have to be prepared for,which is no shock to me as i knew it was coming n e way,i have a terrible throat infection and the flu,dont get no sleep,this week i feel so worn out and exhausted,anaemia explains most of it but added on to the flu i have never had the flu this bad before in my life,and cnt take nothing for it if you know any remedys be sure to let me know please

lost a bit more of the plug 2 day losing it in small amounts and been having BH feels quite uncomfortable but painless
