I am 26 years old, currently expecting my first child. I got the suprise of my life when I was "late" and decided to take a pregnancy test on August 14th. It clearly stated PREGNANT. I argued with it, before going into complete shock. I've always wanted to have children, but the timing of it all is crazy! But, I know God has his plans for me and it has happened for a reason. I am absolutely ecstatic about this little "peanut" that is continuing to grow inside of me. With the excitement comes a lot of nervousness as well. I had a miscarriage in early November of 2003. So, I tend to worry, but I mine as well get used to it because I know I will worry about this little one until the day I die. I went for my first dr visit on September 11th (yea, what a day) and only had the pregnancy confirmed, the normal "exam", and was lucky that I have such a wonderful dr that I got to have an ultrasound. I was 9 weeks 1 day and got to see the little peanut that is growing inside of me. Little one actually moved while we were looking, which melted my heart right then and there. At the moment, I am just hoping for a happy, healthy baby (and pregnancy.) I go for the "big" ultrasound on November 29th and am hoping to find out the gender.
On November 29th, found out we're having a little BOY!!! Logan William is what we're thinking!!

I'm the same way, I dont know if I'm getting BHC etheir. its weird. I will find out tmr tho if I'm dialated any! I hope I am! Your sooo lucky your dialated 3CM! I'm JEALOUS! :-P

wow, ok so that makes me feel better, your actually dialeted without feeling contractions? cuase i too think i have had bh but i cant tell if its just the baby moving around! good luck:)

Thank you! Your ultrasounds pictures are awesome; so nice and clear. The place had us back twice because we couldn’t get a good view of her face; but both times she just gave us a peak and not a full face view. The 2nd time they had to scan through the umbilical cord because it was running across her face so that is why the skin looks a little distorted and bumpy. It just takes your breath away when you see that smile doesn’t it.
I can’t wait to meet her! Congratulations on your little boy and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

My little girl was sucking her thumb through the whole US! The tech was getting irritated because he needed to get a certain shot of her face and that thumb was just plastered in there! The first u/s she was covering her face like a boxer. HEhe! Kids are so funny. I am sure I'm going to have a little thumb sucker. Guess there isn't much to do in there anyway! LOL

Your 3d pics are adorable!! One of the best I have seen. I had a biophysical profile done and when they were done they let me have a quick 3d ultrasound and when they first started she had her hands and feet in her face and you could only see her little nose. she finally moved a little but only got about half of her face. Congrats to you and adorable baby boy!!!

I just read your page and just like you, I wasn't expecting this either. My mom was actually making comments to me and after being 4 days late I took a test...and then another and then another. And they were all positive. Ha. I can't wait to see my little boy. God does have a plan for all of us. This little miracle has changed my life in so many ways. I call my little man peanut too. I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and that's exactly what he looked like. Well keep me updated!
