22.9 hours ago I know. I got in SERIOUS trouble with my Dr. Monday. She's like "Stop it! Take it easy!" This appointment after an announcement at work that our work loads will be increasing due to so many people (me included, LOL) going on leave, retiring, or quitting and they can't plug holes with new hires because of a hiring freeze! Ridiculous. I am sooooooo looking forward to my little one arriving and just focusing on her. Take care! And drink your gatorade! sharafly -
31.5 hours ago Hey girlie, how are you? Just wanted to check in and see how things were going. How do you feel in week 30?
I updated my page - I had my little boy last Monday!!! AndreaB -
46.7 hours ago Yay! I am so happy for you that she has gained some weight - 3 lbs is awesome! Last week my girl measured 2 lbs 4 oz., so you are in GREAT shape! Please keep me posted on the fluids situation - and try not to worry. I had an appt today too - blood pressure is too high and have to go back Wed. Work is stressing me out! LOL! But the baby seems good, and my measurements are good, so I'm sure happy about that. ezra07 -

Saturday, 10 May I think it's a great sign that you're feeling her move so much more. I hadn't until about 5 1/2 months! Best of luck at your appointment on the 19th, please do keep me posted. AndreaB -
Friday, 9 May How is your little one these days? I just returned from the Dr. and found out ours has moved up the scale from 10th to 20th percentile. Have you had a recent appointment for measurements? sharafly -
Tuesday, 6 May Well this is the thing that upset me, and I'm still upset about. I wanted them to go ahead and induce me now, but they said they wanted to wait until he was almost due. Since he will be so big that close to his due date, they scheduled a C-Section because with my last pregnancy I had a 4th degree tear when she came out vaginally. They said they want to avoid me tearing again so badly. I wish they would have just gone ahead last week or so and induced me, that way I could have delivered vaginally, and he wouldn't have been too big. BUT, that's not what ended up happening. sharafly -
Monday, 5 May Thank you for the comment! I was really excited to get that 4D ultrasound done. I was like you and didn't know if it would turn out ok...but I'm so glad I did it now.
So you're in week 28...how exciting!! I have 7 days to go...and boy am I feeling it :( I wish this little boy would just come on out to play!! But if I don't deliver sometime this week, they're going to schedule me for a C-section on Friday. So I guess I really have 4 days to go. Yikes!!! AndreaB -
Saturday, 3 May Thank you for inviting me into your friendship network. How nice! sharafly -
Friday, 2 May Hi, I just noticed your post about having 3D/4D ultrasounds done when you're a bigger girl. I am a WAY bigger girl, and I had a 4D ultrasound done at week 37. It is in my photo page, and it turned out spectacular if you'd like to check it out. They never mentioned one word about my extra weight either. babydoll76 -

Wednesday, 30 April Hello. I was reading your post on the gestational diabetes forum. I just wanted to say that I was borderline when I took the test, but I took it when I was 28 weeks. I had no signs or symptoms of having GD and my baby was even measuring small compared to other babies her age. But I think my diabetes was caught before it affected my baby. So, I would listen to your doctor and follow the diet. There's more to GD then having a big baby.. If you don't control your numbers, your baby has a high change of having undeveloped lungs and not growing correctly and of course a having a huge baby.. Those who don't control their diabetes, their babies end up spending 2-3 weeks in the NICU.. And not all GD babies are huge.. My baby was born 6 lbs 15 oz's and not affected by me having GD.. I was also on a hight dose of insulin. And here's a little brag about my daughter, she had her 6 month check up a month ago and she measured in the 50 percentile for her height, weight, and head measurements.. Our doctor said she's perfect!! She's growing perfectly.. And not all babies measure that way.. So, I 'm proud to tell people this, because so many people look down on those who have medical problems when their pregnant.. Well, those people are not looking down on me anymore. lol My baby is perfect in all her measurements, but theirs are not.. Sweet justice.. lol momof16 -
Monday, 28 April Thanks for writing. I think I'm feeling so many flutters down low because the baby is still breach. Maybe when he turns, like yours seems to have done, I will feel him up high. I've been pregnant 3 times before and felt all the kicks early. This is the first time being overweight and having an anterior placenta. It's like I'm not even pregnant most of the time. I just feel fat! :) momof16 -
Monday, 28 April Hi,
I just read your post about the anterior placenta. How long did it take for you to feel kicks? I'm 28 weeks and still not feeling anything but flutters down low. AndreaB -
Friday, 25 April Congratulations to you too! AND you are absolutely not alone in any sense: you have your fiance, your Dr., and other people like me who have little ones. Jaliyahsmama -

Wednesday, 23 April Sounds like the same situation as me, except my worst is right hand being my dominant. I am definately going to ask him for more information because I lose sleep. Between 4-6 am is the worst. Good luck with yours 2. Thanks MommaD -
Wednesday, 23 April My friend was told her entire pregnancy that her baby was small. He was born weighing a little over 5lbs. He's perfectly healthy though. Sorry you had such a rough visit with the doctor. Those are minor things though. You and baby should be fine. Leave a message for langiel in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
