Hey everyone this is now my second pregnancy with my first child I had a little girl. She weighed 9 pound 1 ounce at birth. The whole delivery lasted for 4 hours. Through out my first pregnancy I had mornning sickness and after that I felt great. Through out my first and this pregnancy I cut out all soda, caffeine, and anything that would be harmful to the baby. Now with this pregnancy I had no clue I was pregnant until I was 13 weeks pregnant. I had no mornning sickness nothing. I felt great during the first trimester. I would have to say the thing that worries me the most about this pregnancy is the weight of this baby and how fast this delivery will be because I do not want to be stuck on the road when I have this one. I was told the second time around is always faster and I also hear that there is a posibility that also the baby can be bigger.

Week 17

Week 17 I have been having head aches and hard to sleep but I think I rather have that then the sickness. Me and my husband are extremly excited because on March 19th we are going to find out if it is a boy or girl. We are hoping for a little boy this time around. All we can do is keep are fingures cross and hope.

Week 19

Hey everyone I just found out today that I am having a big baby boy that already weights 12oz. Every thing is great because I have a daughter already and now a boy. The only thing that worries me is that the baby is already 12oz and my first was 9 pound 1 ounce at birth. I am afraid this one will be closer to 10 pounds.

Week 20

This week I would have to say has been one of the most painful for me. I have been suffering from Siatic nerve pain. I had it with my first pregnancy but nothing like this. But I look on the bright side I have been feeling the baby move around a lot and my husband finally felt the baby move him self. If this pain thing continues through out my pregnancy I am going to pray that this pregnancy will go fast.

Week 21

So far I have not gained any weight through this whole pregnancy. With my first I gained 50lbs total. But then again I have not been having any kind of craving. In fact when I think of eating I have no apeal to eat or nothing sounds good. I do not cook anymore and when I do I have no idea what to cook for my family because everything sounds nasty. It is not like when I eat I feel sick. My apeal has gone. I ate more not pregnant then I did now.

Week 22

This week is going good. I have gained 3 pound in this week and I am not really showing yet.He is kicking a lot harder this week then he has ever before. It is kind of funny because the other day my 2 1/2 year old was laying of my stumic when her brother kicked me so hard she started to laught and she said "mommy your tummy went up" I think he is already starting to fight with his sister. lol

How`s my pregnancy doing?

I'm going to find out if they have the capabilities at my perinat office. They should since they seem to have the most high tech equipment. I think Im going to go for a 3d/4d session at around 28 weeks. It costs around $125 but I think it will be worth it to have the pictures and videos.

It hasn't so much this past week, but the last 2 weeks of my 2nd trimester it seemed like I couldn't keep my numbers down, so he raised my insulin then. But so far this past week everything seems to be ok most of the time. They did tell me that my Iron was low, so I had to start taking iron pills. talk about constipation..............

poppytalk - Monday, 12 May
Thank You so very much for your words of encouragement. I did see the doctor the day I wrote that up, so I felt I should take it down since it doesn't apply anymore. They started me on insulin right away and I had an ultrasound to check the baby. I am still a bit nervous but going to the doctors was the best thing for my nervous system. :D!! Thank You again.

JennNichols - Saturday, 10 May
He hasn't mentioned a diet afterwards, but I'm going to try to stick to what I've been doing, so maybeI can loose some weight after the baby is born! The doc office called today and said that my A1C results came back in the normal range (didn't give me specific numbers though) but my iron is low, so I need to start taking iron pills and stool softeners....

JennNichols - Friday, 9 May
That's really good!! I had that same test done on Wednesday, so maybe I'll call on Monday to see they have the results yet or not. Now I'm curious to see what mine is. I've been having a hard time staying away from carbs in general......I can't help that I love to eat!

JennNichols - Friday, 9 May
They want to do a C-section b/c Grace was so big as well and b/c she was so big I had so many compications during delivery and that resulted in her have pretty severe Cerebral Palsy, so they are just trying to prevent that from happening again since this baby looks like he's going to be a big one too! I'm not sure when they are going to do another ultrasound, he didn't say and I didn't think to ask...I was to stunned by the babies weight that I couldn't think of anything else to ask! hehehehe!! :)

JennNichols - Wednesday, 7 May
hello! I went to the doctors today and had an ultrasound. He is weighing in at 2lbs 13oz. EEEK!!! They pretty much have decided now that I am going to have a C-Section....Scary!!

JennNichols - Wednesday, 7 May
You can vent anytime!! If I lived near you, I'd let you have the party it may house!! Grace is the devil one day and an angel the next.....weird. I need a vacation too! Hope all gets better!

sapphiregirl - Tuesday, 6 May
lol I hear ya. Even my u/s said I was further along by almost three weeks!! I see the doc on Thursday so I'll see if she thinks so as well.

JennNichols - Tuesday, 6 May
No I haven't really been getting to hot...yet! I was a little yesterday because I stayed home all day and caught up on laundry. Six loads!!!! We have a two story house and our laundry is in the basement, so every load I had to go up and down two flights of steps. I was sweating with doing all of that!! I'm just glad my laundry is all caught up....for now anyways....it never stops! Grace was an angel yesterday and a monster today.... I just don't undestand what is going on with her. How's your little girl doing?

pageantmommie - Monday, 5 May
Thanxs for the comment back on the kids being brats LOL... my daughter is 11 and she is just gone crazy she told my husband who is her step father yesterday that she never wanted a dad and that she didnt want him here. I was devastated.... they have always had a great relationship and my husband is planning on adopting her, she really acted out the worst I have seen her do, she was in trouble for not answer her cell phone all weekend when I let her stay over at a friends house.... (which I just started to allow I am really picky about allowing it) so she came home with an attitude and she got a smack on the behind .... that was all it took for the drama to start. WOW.... I guess it is only going to get worse as they get older. I am having a girl and she is the only girl and everyone has been telling her she is not going to be the little diva any more... I have been telling my family to build her up about having a sister not make it worse. I do think that we all need a break from each other. I would like to spend time with my hunny just me and him. I guess we all need to unwind. YEA to having a pre~teen. Take care girly thanks for letting me vent on your page!!! : )

They say you shouldn't ride because of the danger of falling of and breaking something but I have. We own horses and we still ride. I think it's ok if you have been doing it previously but I wouldn't recommend (spelling? oops lol) running or trotting to much. My hubby and I ride and as long as you just take it easy I think it's ok. I wouldn't try any new trails or places while pregnant just in case. Horses can be funny and you never know what can happen. We ride at home on our own property and the horses are used to that place. Just be smart, and safe and I think you'll be fine. :) Good luck!

JennNichols - Monday, 5 May
I inject in my stomache. I've tried other places, but for some reason my stomache is the most comfortable. I might have to start finding a new spot though, b/c my stomache is getting so big. But I have those needle marks too. How are you feeling? I'm tired all the time!

surprisedmommy2b - Sunday, 4 May
I had to post on your horeseback riding question. My sister is a barrel racer and rode right up until delivery. I thought she was crazy, but she did anyway and was fine. I don't know what the doctor thought about it though. Have you checked with yours? My sister did notice some changes in her balance that she had to account for and I think she really slowed down at the end, but she rode the whole pregnancy. That being said, her baby demands to be bounced ALL THE TIME!! I think he's accustomed to the motion of the horse!! Good luck and take care.

Tori(a.k.a. Tinkerbell) - Saturday, 3 May
about your horseback riding question on the fitness froum it says"Doctors have different opinions on whether horseback riding is safe or not. If you are and excellent horseback rider and are just walking around on the horse, you can most likely continue up to 12 weeks. But after 12 weeks, no riding. That's because by this time, the fetus has moved up above the pelvic girdle, a bony structure protects the baby during the first trimester, and now all that sits between the baby and any external force is skin and muscle. If you get kicked or are thrown off the horse at this point, you've got nothing protecting the baby from trauma. Even experienced riders get thrown off; that's part of the game. "

Just returned from my perinatal appt. All was fine with my little---boy. Thirteen weeks and she could already see. Wow!

I see you had a 3d/4d ultrasound. How was it? During what week did you go? I'd love to have one done.

JennNichols - Thursday, 1 May
Less than a week and I get to see baby boy Nichols again via ultrasound!! I don't know if I can wait that long though......the days seem to be crawling...

SoXCited - Thursday, 1 May
Thanks for your response. I guess I'll be worried until I deliver. I haven't gained any weight and have no symptoms. I haven't been cramping or bleeding either-thank goodness. I have a scan tomorrow and I hope all is well. I'll keep you posted.

I hope you're right and I have nothing to fear.

Actually I never noticed the attitude change im my twins 3 1/2 years old, till recently. I think it just has to do with that TIME of there age..They arent too bad but there are days. Weird though, they are excited for the baby. I think they are tired of me saying "you cant play by my belly or you will squish the baby" we cant play like normal or very activily and that might be annoying to them now. Plus your more tired now. Once the baby is out im betting it will get a little better...after awhie. Good luck! Congrats on your pregnancy!

nich-vegas-mommy2be - Tuesday, 29 April
I have been having that pelvic pressure for a few weeks now. Its so uncomfortable! I guess the baby just likes to sit low? I am still going to ask my doctor about it, but the midwife in the office said it's normal.

armywifeash - Tuesday, 29 April
To me it sounds like your hips might be expanding. Thats what I figured I was going through when I had pressure on my hip area of the pelvis.

JennNichols - Friday, 25 April
That's awesome!! I'm so glad that you like her!! My doc told me that he won't let me go past my due date at one appointment and then at a different appt he said he would probably take me a few weeks early....so I'm not real sure yet when I'm going to have this baby boy of mine!! :) I have an appt on May 7th with an ultrasound, so maybe he can give me more info then. I haven't felt the baby move much today, its kinda making me nervous. But then again I have been on the go constantly today. I just sat down now for the first time today. So I'm hoping that maybe if I sit here and relax for a little while, he'll start to move around!

JennNichols - Wednesday, 23 April
My biggest craving is McDonalds Bagel Egg Bacon and Cheese sandwich...I could eat one almost everyday. Bagels have a lot of carbs in them though, so I make sure my blood sugar is not high before I go get one. And I hold my temptation to only eating one a week instead of one a day like my cravings want!

JennNichols - Tuesday, 22 April
Do you find some days you cold care less if you ate anything at all and others you want to eat everything in site? Today is an eating day for me!! Just stinks I have to be so careful that my blood sugar doesn't get to high.

JennNichols - Tuesday, 22 April
That stinks!! I wouldn't want to start all over with a new doctor either. Let me know how it goes! Have you been feeling REALLY tired lately? I can't even keep my eyes open... Talk to you later, I'm heading to bed!
