I remember it did hurt some to keep nursing, and I had a mild case. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this right now. I hope you feel better soon.

Hmm... That's strange. When my first baby had thrush, they just had me paint his tongue with some black anti-fungal stuff (and maybe my nipples, too- can't remember, as was 15 years ago...) Anyway, we didn't have to pause on the breastfeeding, just continued on...If Dr. insists on the pause in nursing, then you need to pump every 2-3 hours to keep milk supply somewhat up. Fenugreek would be in the healthfood section. But it wouldn't make up for not pumping or feeding often enough.

i have a 3 y/o step son and my daughter is 2 1/2.. and thankfully its been easier now that she's come! she's all about helping and sometimes helps TOO MUCH.. but we've had a lot less of the tantrums we used to. she's a little bit louder and she likes to show off a lot more for attention. how are you healing? how did the birth go?

LOL! I guess you always love other places you don't live. My dad is in Miami, I wish we had a beach like that! My lil man is a bit husky, he is so tough. I just started saying he is like Bam Bam from the Flintstones, stronger than he realizes. He was born at 9 pounds 5 ounces & has just stayed big. Alayna is doing good. She slept through the night the last 2 nights. So do you plan on having more, or are you good one boy & one girl? Your lucky you had your son first to watch over his lil sis.

Are you going to pierce your daughters ears while she is a little baby? I asked her pedi & she said we could after her 8 week check up, when she gets shots. I can't wait!!
