We have the City Mini Jogger (http://babyjogger.com/cityminimain.htm). Because my critera was lightweight and easy for travel, this was the best option. Then we have the adapter to put on it for an infant car seat. The best part about this stroller is the way it folds up - it's amazing - all with one hand. And it's so light! Go here: http://tinyurl.com/59meh9 and click on the arrow in the middle of the seat to watch the video. It's so cool!

We also have a bugaboo frog with a carseat adaptor for our Graco Snugride carseat. It's a super cool but expensive stroller - luckily we found it for a really good price used.

If you want a stroller with a large storage compartment, cup holders, purse holders, etc... then these strollers are not for you. Like I said - we chose these because we like to travel and their featrues were more important to us than having cup holders and all that.

It's really light and folds up really easy. I like it alot. I had a Graco with my last son but this one is much better.

I have a chicco travel system. I love it!!!

hi hun, check out the quinny, not only does it look quite stylish but it has hydrolics in the base so it folds down and up on its own. http://www.quinny.com/quinny/productdetail.aspx?id=3
in UK we have to buy pieces separately, i got a maxicosi car seat and the carry cot too. hope this helps

I purchased the Eddie Bauer Travel System. It was a bit pricey but it got excellent safety reviews.

Hi. I'm horribly materialistic, and wanted one that didn't look like lego or duplo, so went for the Maxi Cosi Foray, and Mico car seat. They're gorgeous. A little more $ than I originally wanted to spend, but i'm shallow, so they're pretty and I love them.

Lauren - We got as a gift a Graco Stylus Travel System (Color: Wyndham) We put it together very easily, and its got ALL of the add-ons. And it glides so smooth!! You can find it at Wal-Mart for $200 (It has a 5 star rating from 20 customer reviews at wal-mart.com) here is the link for you to take a look: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8112228

PS-IT'S NOT HEAVY AT ALL!! VERY LIGHTWEIGHT!!!!

3rdtymeround - Friday, 20 June
Just avoid the Gracos. They are very heavy and have small storage underneath. I was given a Evenflo travel system 5 yrs ago and have used it for all three of my kids. All my friend who had kids at the same time got Graco beacuse they were told it was the best and they all complained ti was cumberson, heavy, little storage and they all commented on how easy mine folded up, it had a HUGE storage bag underneath, cup holders and VERY lightweight. When they had their 2nd kids they sold thier Gracos and got the Evenlflo. It holds up well to. I have used the car seat, base and stoller for my other two kids which are five and two and will be able to use it again for this one, because it still looks brand new.
Just make sure to go in the stores and push them around, fold them up and lift them as well as look to see how much storage you have. You will see.

Hey! I just thought I'd give my input on the stroller/carrier. It really depends on the weight you're looking for. Strollers can be REALLY heavy, which is a downside for smaller girls like you and I. My hubby and I went to baby stores like crazy lifting and manipulating strollers. We found that the Peg Perego is the lightest/easiest stroller for me. Its about 10 lbs, which is pretty light. Most of the graco stroller range from the lowest at 17lbs-32lbs. Evenflow is heavy as well. The lightest ones out there are by Chicco and Peg perego! THey are kinda pricey, but are very safe. Sometimes you can even find the models from the prev. year if they are more than you wanted to spend. :) YOu can find them at most baby stores, and online EVERYWHERE! Only bad thing about peg perego is they don't have the "cutest" fabrics. This years models are the best for fabric. The Aria OH stroller is the lightest one they have and is about 175-200 depending on where you purchase it. I have been told by sooooo many people that you should always buy the carrier/infant carseat that is the same brand so that they were built for eachother. Peg perego uses this really neato latch system that seems to be really sturdy. It literally locks the carrier into the stroller with steal latches on the bottom :D In any event, thats my info. Hope it helps. Congrats with the baby and good luck with everything!

I bought a GRACO Travel system with my first son and I LOVED IT ... I'm using it again for my next son. The stroller folds really easy and fits really well in a small car ( I have a JETTA). It is around $200 but it comes with the infant carseat and stroller all in one ... the stroller is good to use until a child is about 4 years old. I hope that this helps

Lauren, I'm personally going a different route than all of the stroller/car seat travel systems that are out there. (And I wish someone had told me that this option was available before I did a ton of research.) I found that the strollers that came with the travel systems were too heavy/cumbersome for me. We live in an urban area and we travel alot, so my main criteria was to have something that was easy to pack up and go. Nobody told me that I could choose my stroller based on that criteria and then get an adapter for the carseat that I want to fit on the stroller. However, if you choose the travel system route, I've heard really good things about the Chicco...

Phonics - Friday, 20 June
We got oh so big y evenflo, but we got it because i have a two door car so i needed something smaller. we had on by graco that i loved. i forget the name, but it was one of the 229 dollar ones.

cdoyle23 - Friday, 20 June
i personally love our Graco Quattro Tour Travel System in Nouvelle. It's pretty neutral in color, so can be used for a girl or a boy. And the base fits soooo good in the car! I have a 2 door, back seat is a little small. But the combo fits great in there. And the stroller is super easy to open and close... 1 hand! Plus it has a thermometer to let you know how hot the baby is getting in the stroller! Love it! Everything fits together really snug, no movement. Got it at toys r us.

mumsie26 - Friday, 20 June
hi there when deciding which car seat/stroller system you need it all depends on your lifestyle, whether you drive yourself, bus, tram or walk lots? there are so many available now, when i am looking for anew stroller i research it on the net and see whats on ebay as this gives you a good idea of whats good too, it depends what you can get in the usa too as i am in the uk and there is a difference with whats available her and there.. go into your baby stores andtest driver htem ,push and try and see if it feels heavy some strollers are very heavy adn by time th ebaby is 9 months or a year old some mums just get a lighter stroller, it depends on your circumstances..

kmoiphy - Thursday, 19 June
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I gained 67lbs with my daughter and Iost every bit of it. It took almost a year but I really didnt do anything to lose it either, I give all the credit to breast feeding. good luck

Bangel - Thursday, 19 June
You probably have nothing to worry about. You're 20, so you still have metabolism and motivation! lol. I lost those things at age 26, so I'm getting real worried that now I will be fat forever!

Ready2BMummy - Thursday, 19 June
HI Lauren! I hear you about the weight gain. I have gained about 10lbs, and although it doens't sound like much, it is definitely the mose I have ever weighed. It's also tough because I am used to working out six days a week, and now I am unable to train the way I want too.
But listen, you look GORGEOUS! I bet you were a teeny tiny lady before you got pregnant, and the smaller you are, the more you should gain. Just relax and enjoy! I had a hard time excepting it, but it will all come off and you will have your beautiful baby to show for it. You go, MILF! :)

Megan the lump maker - Thursday, 19 June
About 5-6 months. I wasn't able to start running again until 4 months after bc I kept peeing on myself! I hope it doesn't happen to you, but it started really bad again. This kid is so low. NO bouncing for me : ( After you lose the weight, then you have to work on toning up--but that little pouch can take years to go away. It's not bad, but the skin just get stretched. The stretch marks make me want to puke though--didn't get them until the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy. They were so bright red afterwards! I cried and cried. It was so depressing. BUT--now I already have an awesome tatoo picked out for when I get myself skinnny again. It will cover those nasty things up and I'll be able to show off my belly again witout feeling so self concious.

Megan the lump maker - Thursday, 19 June
iam about the same as you---and i exercise. Just the way your body reacts to pregnancy. You'll lose it fast--don't worry. I know it sucks.
