I just got a few stretch marks where it was... If you have had it taken out a while then you more than likely will not get any where it was...I had to take mine out when I found out I was pregnant with my second... Hope that helps! Best of luck with everything!!

Hey babe! First of all congrats on your baby girl! And I LOVE the name Marley! About the deli meats I heard it before I got preg, so then I asked Dr and she was like oh well if it is fresh it's fine. Also, if it is a HEATED sandwich (like an oven-toasted sub) then you are fine because high temp kills bacteria. That is what this is all about. Listeria- it is a bacteria which cause listeriosis- basically bad food poisoning.Can happen to anyone but is rare BUT you are 40 times more likely to contract listeriosis when you are a pregnant woman. SO, that is why they say don't eat it. So I am only telling you this so you don't worry that you have already been eating it all the time- if you had gotten this bacteria you would be violently ill with flu-like symptoms. :) so you're fine. I wasn't eating it for the longest time but then one day I was like f*** it. I want some friggin deli meat. And now I eat it and I have been fine. But, if you feel more paranoid than me just heat your sandwiches and you will be 100% fine. Sorry for the long ass message but just wanted to tell you what I know. Good luck with all! My doctor doesn't care if I eat deli meat. I had never heard of that either; I first saw it on here a couple months ago. When I saw it, I asked my sister, who has 4 kids, whether she had heard of this...and she said WTF? lol

i've been eating deli meat too. I have to pack lunches as i go away for 5 days at a time so i fugure it's better to eat it then to go hungry. i think it's one of those things they say not to do but pretty much everyone does anyway. there's bigger things to worry about.

I would not worry about it till you talk to the doctor. I am diabetic which is why i know about that. I had to see a specialist and she mentioned it to me. But she did say to stay away from certain cheese like white Mexican cheeese which i love and about the processed meats. Mostly the cheeses though cause they can cause some kind of toxin. Anyways like i said i would not worry about till you talk to the doc. Call the office and ask the nurse she can tell you that stuff over the phone. Better to be safe. Plus since it is the weekend try to call today or just don't eat it till you can talk to them. I'm sure if something showed in all the blood work and such they would def let you know. Just call them. Good Luck and don't worry it'll be fine. No stress!!!!

You can get lysteria from it--just the same as eating raw fish. Of course it doesn't happen to everyone, but just ween yourself off of it--you'll be fine

I was 29 weeks and 3 days pregnant. It is so cool, you have to post your pictures once you get them. I did one at 16weeks, 22 weeks, and at 29 weeks. The best was at 29 weeks. He kept opening and closing his eyes, yawning, stretching... he was a busy baby! Hope you get some good pics.

Yeah, it is true. My doctor told me to stay away from it. Because alot of these place are not properly cleaning the meat slicers. The bacteria can cause birthing problems. Which is hard, because I crave Subway something terrible. I ate it up until my doctor told me not too.

yeah i heard the same things, that and it could cause premature labor?? my mom said the only thing we really need to stay away from is raw and undercooked stuff, which makes sense, but all these other people have me too paranoid!
you have NO idea how badly i want just a regular sandwich!! i dont always want a hot one....i just want a regular, every-day sandwich!! lol

Where we go for a 3d/ 4d ultrasound they tell you to come between 24-34 weeks, they can do it earlier but they say the baby is developed better in that range. I have a link if you are intersted

Hey Girly. Im getting my 4d on the 25 of this month. The tech on the phone told me this is the Ideal time (18-24 wks) after that the baby is kinda big so there all squished in there. I can't wait till my apt. I had one done with the last pregnancy its soooooo cool

I feel great, obviously cant wait to get back into shape again, but its not your first priority when your maternal instinks kick in and you just want a safe pregnancy and delivery.
I saw my OB today and since last fortnight I have gained another 3kg lol - WHOOPS...

Hey!
Still no pics! I took some this weekend and hopefully will load them up tomorrow. I was super lazy and kinda bummed out tonight so I didn't really do anything constructive but eat ice cream and watch 27 dresses...
I go to the doc on Thursday, kinda nervous and anxious. Hoping I get off the stupid high risk business and can go back to some form of exercising and love making cause I'm going nuts! Wish me luck.
How are you doing? Is it still hot as hell down there?

If you like craigslist, then you should try freecycle. Its a site were people recycle their things rather than throwing them away. I have gotten a bunch of great condition baby clothes and other baby items for free. Its a great site.

lol. I know what you mean.... Except its reverse in this relationship. At first Doug was like NO PINK!! And then the other day I was looking at other crib bedding options and he was picking out all the supper girly ones.... I dont get him lol. Im still going to get the sally set tho.

I normally am not that hungry and I am very picky about what I will eat, but right now I am craving fat. Like peanuts, almonds, chicken, and eggs. I have been eating alot of that lately more than normal. I believe the baby is going through a growth spurt.

My husband and I love that movie too! I thought what a great and diffrent idea. I found the set on ebay. and im pretty sure the lady has her own store and has more. its a little pricy but its so original and it is adorible (not girly at all lol)

That's good. We needed to paint our deck about a month ago and I told my husband that unless he wanted to do it alone, we better hire someone b/c I couldn't take the fumes. Pregnancy provides a good excuse to get out of things, esp when they could be bad for the baby!

We are having a girl, well, a 70% girl. She was being shy. But they couldn't get a clear view of her heart so we have to go back in for a repeat ultrasound in 3 weeks so hopefully she'll be a 100% girl by then. You're having a girl too?

Wearing maternity shirts yet? I have come to realize that wearing a maternity shirt makes me look more pregnant than fat. lol
