This is my first baby....I just cant wait to meet him!
30/06 - We went for our 4d scan on Saturday. I couldnt sleep all night with excitement. I was amased by the pictures & our video blew my mind away. It was totally unreal how you can see the details of his little face and of course has started off the arguement of who he looks like which seems so wierd as we should be doing that when hes born! He is kicking very strongly now and sometimes it does feel ever so odd! He now does big stretches so i get it in the back as well as the front tummy lifting up. What a sensation. He is so responsive, if I leave my arm or hand on my tummy he kicks it almost straight away. I find myself saying sorry and moving my hand out the way as an automatic response then I think what am I doing? Sometimes I think hes saying hello and other times hes saying thats too heavy mum this is my space.

YES!! its so weird, i try to rub it out too. i feel the baby moving all over the place then she'll stop and it gets all tight. then it will relax and she resumes having fun in there! they say if you are dehydrated that it will happen, but i drink tons of water

Nope no midwife. I just have my OB which is a doctors office of 5 doctors that get called once I am at L&D. (They're great during my regular appointments or between 9&5, lol) Other than that, they are completely useless during off hours or weekends.

i had a shocking diet pre-pregnancy (still eat healthy things, but am in love with junk food) and guess that may have attributed to it? but my midwife said its something you are preexposed to getting, regardless of diet - its all about your genes!
lucky you with the lovely weather! it will be spring here in Sept, so heres hoping my little one will come along on a nice warm day!!
we are having a little boy too! i cant wait to meet him either! its like the anticipation is killing me!!! xxx

Hello hun, how was Mallorca, did you have a nice time?
I had another scan last week and all was fine, my blood flow was normal so fingers crossed no more worry!
Baby has been kicking lots too, yes I have been communicating too, how amazing is it?! I sit there and poke the baby and he/she will poke back! Wouldn't do it for my partner either haha only for me! x Its all going so fast!x

hi! my pregnancy has not been too bad...found out yesterday that i have GD - so not too impressed about that, but onwards and upwards hey!!
I know the time is going by so fast, I cant believe I only have 6 weeks of work left!!! Scary/exciting times!

sooo sweet, yeah same kinda thing happens to me too! when i pat my tummy she kicks the same place even when i do it all over, thiks shes gonna be a brainy one! im getting more and more exited every week, im a bit worried at the moment though, when i was 22weeks my womb was measuring 26 weeks and went to my midwife yesterday (when i was exactly 26 weeks) and now my wombs measuring 30weeks! no wonder im huge! ive been booked in for another scan in 2 weeks just too make sure everythings ok, either my body is making my womb too big or she gonna be a porker! in which case id rather have a c-section, being tiny myself im not sure how id cope getting a big baby out! if you dont mind me asking at ur last scan (20-22 weeks) what was little mans EFW (estimated fetal weight) coz my little girl weighed 428 grams and ive got a feeling that was slightly over average and that was when i was 21weeks 4days! eeekk! hope ur all okies! xxx *emma-jane* - Wednesday, 11 June
i'm trying to watch what i eat but i must admit i'm eating as much bad food as good food! we are having a girl
shes not as kicky as some of our others babies have been but i put that down to how much room there must be in there now after 5! lol its such an amazing feeling when they start kicking isnt it

I feel fine with the weight, It seems to be all bump. I was 9st to start with and with my last daughter I also put on 4 1/2st so Im thinking that its gona be the same this time aswell. Unfortunatly with us already having 3 kids (2 boys & 1 girl) the baby has to share our room until shes old enough to share with Anastasia so were just going to wait until next year and do out that room when the time comes. But Ive got a lovely swinging white crib and the bedding to match. Oh and Im not supprised your BF is frightend. God we got to the beach all the time with
Anastasia and normaly go on the rocks and hes forever saying watch you dont stand on the green stuff, be carful etc. Im sure he thinks Im 2 sometimes.. Good to here from you too. X

Im getting alil nervous that i will end up having him and still not know for sure what to do about his name. I just have a REALLY strong feeling my little guy is gonna come early.

wow! i just read your post and it's amazing!!! I've heard of that kind of thing before but it really is incredible that you can actually communicate with a baby before it's born... You must be so excited!
I know what you mean about needing to let go of the pain, I guess it still feels surreal that there is actually a whole new being inside me! On some level I think I still think it's the first baby... I'm sure as time passes and it really starts to sink in that will change.
Do you remember I mentioned that I had a private early scan last time? well I always thought we'd do that this time but hubby seems to think he doesn't want to this time... I might have to talk to him again but I don't want him to feel forced... I want us to be on the same page but I'd just love to see the heartbeat again...

Hey lovely, thanks for your message!! I took another test this morning and the line was a lot darker so I'm feeling positive!! As for the caffeine, I haven't had a drop for months and months so am used to it now!! No caffeine, no alcohol, not even a drop! I've been taking my extra supplements since the loss so hopefully that will really reduce the chances of a reoccurance. We haven't been trying long.. had one month off, then this was our second month of trying (but last month I'm convinced we didn't time is right!).. Am feeling so so blessed to have been given this second chance... I just can't tell you how grateful I feel. This baby will arrive almost exactly a year after we terminated our last pregnancy... I feel like it's a sign...
Thanks for the tip on the birthing book, I'll look it up!

Thats such bad luck with your foot. I hope it gets better soon. Im huge Ive put on about 40lbs, I cant beleave it but the scales dont lie.lol!! I still feel great aswell. Im really getting excited now and so is my little girl. Have you got everything sorted and ready for your little boys arrival yet? Ive still got drawers to build and the crib to put together but I just about have everything else now. Only waiting on the baby now.. Its lovely to here from you and Im pleased your feeling well. Hey there, how you going? hope everything is well with you and bubs. I have good news... got a BFP this morning!!!!! it was faint but definitely there so we are keeping our fingers crossed that all will be well this time around. This baby is due mid-feb, almost a year after we lost our first and in between mike and my birthdays... who knows, if I'm late maybe I'll get the best 30th birthday present ever!!!

Thank you for your message, But I honestly can say that no one can make me feel better until I get the body I want, Of course I know Im pretty , but come on now, who honestly looks at faces anymore!!! And she has nothing to be jealous of me for, She has a house, lots of money 2 cars shes getting married in cuba then going to the dominican republic she is in a size 3 and has a hot tight lil body, blonde, blue eyes... the whole package!!! Ugh, Why cant I be that lucky? I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment, low income, no car, no license, 3 kids,, engaged yes but never going to have the money to get married :(

Hi Lea, about the glucose test I dont think we get one in the UK unless the patient is over weight or has diabetes.. Cos I was puzzled with that one. I think they must do it as standard in the US because there all going on about it. Anyway How are you doing? I hope you are still well. Christina

Thats great about your friend giving you all those clothes!! I love some of the Ralph Lauren baby clothes they are soo cute!
I have bought a few babygrows so far but haven't gone shopping crazy yet! I might pop to Next on my lunch break today though as they have some cute stuff!

wow from a D to an F... how???? i am at a D now i was a full C so not much and i hope they stay like that. yes i am still working :( probably until August. and the way time is flying (yay) we will be there in no time. i felt the cramps wanting to come but none yet. i try stretching my legs out when i get a chance. i did that glucose test yesterday. when r u doing yours? and i've decided i am making my appt for the 3/4d u/s for this saturday. i can't wait. :)

hiya hun, urgh! awww thats annoying i hate it when things go tits up, it will be lovely when you do get to see eachother though! im really good thanx, babies getting stronger everyday i swear, only probalem is she likes to now kick my bladder all the time, even a couple of times she kicked it so hard it kinda hurt! hows your little man doing? x
