the little one is doing great!! and eating like no tomorrow-i took him yesterday to the dr's to get his breathing checked out b/c hes been congested for awhile now and dr wasnt worried bout it and said that the more hes on his tummy it should go away....and he's 19lbs now! he gained 2lbs in 2weeks (since his 4mth appt) holy crap!!!

yeah we're working things out-so far-things are doing great. still arguing every now and then but its mainly on my part-afterall he did cheat on me several times....which is why i still question things-but he understands and stays calm and always answers me and reassures me he loves me and that im the one...im glad and i hope that our son gets to grow up in a house w/ his mom and dad...but for now he been seeing his dad every weekend....its great!! and yes they grow up so freakin fast-my son rolled over for the first time last tuesday and i bout cried i was so happy!!!

hello! and thanks for the comments about ms. riley :) Being a single mother isnt easy but it sure is worth it! My riley laughed for the 1st time yesterday and it melted my heart. Shes getting so big right before my very eyes. rileys father doesnt know what hes missing out on, shes wonderful. shes my life and i wouldnt change anything in the world. my family is so supportive so its nice to be able to call them when she does something cute and share in the excitement! be strong for your daughter, youre really all she has! Youre daughter is so0o0o0o cute! tons of hair :)

Congratulations! And I now know how difficult all natural is, but I'm recovering way faster from labor than normal. I'm convinced it is because of not having taken anything. Wishing you the same! xxxx

how did u wait to long cause ive been in labor all day and im waiting for it to get really bad before i go in, the contrations are so strong but speratic right now imt trying to time them now cause they seem to be coming more. how do u know when to go to the hospital.

Hi there,
I think I might be able to explain your docs concern somehwat because they went over that in my Lamaze class. Normally, if your baby is head down, when your water breaks the head acts kind of like a cork and stops everything from coming out. But if her hand is over her head, then this cork effect will not happen. That means that your cord could possibly come out along with the fluids and then when your baby does start to come out, she could smash the cord. My Lamaze instructed told us that if you are breech (or in your case, her hand is there), to lay down immediately and call and ambulance rather than drive to the hospital, because you want to stop gravity from having the baby put any pressure down there. If you don't want to do the ambulance thing, at least lay down in the car ride. It's just a precaution-this is extremely rare. Sorry your doc didn't explain better.

I'm from week 36. I just read your post. My suggestion is that you call your office first thing in the morning. People forget that we are paying these doctors. They get paid big money and they need to communicate to you. If you have unanswered questions...ask them...even if it takes a bit of time. If you feel that this doctor is rushing you tell her that you really need things explained to you so that you understand them. You should never feel rushed by your doctor:)
