My name is Laurie, I am 38 years old and I reside in Canada with my husband and my son. My son is 16 years old and recently my husband and I found out that we are expecting a baby. Surprise, Big surprise, but a beautiful surprise. So far response from our friends and family has been quite positive. We are quite the blended family, my son is from a previous marriage and my husband has 2 older children from a previous marriage as well. All the children are happy about the future bambino. I look foward to meeting and chatting with all of the women and this site.

Well my son is now 4 months old. As I stated above he was a surprise, but certainly a wonderful one. Such a wonderful one in fact that my husband and I have decided to have one more. This pregnancy will be my first one that is planned and for some reason that makes me nervous, as if because we are planning it something will go wrong. I BF my son exclusively so I wasn't planning to be able to conceive for at least a year, but AF returned this month. I think because my son is sleeping through the night AF had the opportunity to return. At least with the return of AF I will have a schedule to work with. I would love to get preggers on the first try, it would be a great Christmas present for my husband and family.
