Hey,

I saw that you were asking about membrane sweeps. I had one today and I can't say that it was the most pleasant of experiences. It was very uncomfortable for me...I had to breath through it, but the major discomfort didn't last long.
Hopefully it will kick start some contractions and at least now I have a better idea of the type of pressure and discomfort associated with giving birth.

Hello there :)
I cracked up about your comment about making dinner sitting on a stool, I do the same thing!

breannanbaby - Wednesday, 13 August
It was not painful at all. It is just alot of pressure. The doctor will use their finger and just sweep along a wall. It is not bad.

I am totally having a hrad time breathing and back aches. alos very short of breath, and often get dizzy. I am trying to get more iron, I hope that helps! I dont think my baby is coming anytime soon! lol..

reneemt78 - Thursday, 7 August
I'm having lots of pre-labor signs...I'll have contractions for about 2-3 hours everyday that are about 7 mins apart...then they fade away. A little fustrating...but I know he'll be here soon enough! How are things going with you??

reneemt78 - Wednesday, 6 August
I know I can hardly believe it...I said it to myself this AM..."2 days" LOL I went to my Dr's yesterday and she said that she expects me to probably go past my due date! I just wanted to cry!! I hope she's wrong and I have him right on my due date...but...I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high! :) I feel pretty good besides feeling a little depressed that I haven't had him yet...I get soooo anxious when I'm at the end of a pregnancy!! I feel like a little girl on Christmas Eve!

adriennella - Wednesday, 6 August
My back does not hurt, but my pelvis and vagina do, especially when I sleep and get up from lying down or sitting down. I had a break yesterday, but it kept me up all night. Ugh.

Any big plans today?

ReneeMT78 - Tuesday, 5 August
Yep I get tons of backaches - in fact it's my biggest complaint! I use a heating pad once in a while which helps a lot.

jaybaby - Saturday, 2 August
Yep I am drinking the tea.....It is a uterine tonic and will prepare and help your uterus during childbirth! You should drink 3-4 cups between meals at least thats what the box reads. It wil not induce labour or harm you in any way. You have to go to an organic store for it most times.

newyearpresent - Saturday, 2 August
Yes, it has a pleasant taste and does nothing!

jesstew - Friday, 1 August
I was getting tightening every 4-6 min the last few days with no pain, but they said at the office they were just BH...so yeah your expierencing probably the same thing. Only worry if they start to hurt, you have to really breathe through them, or you start having blood or fluid leaking or gush.

arykh24 - Wednesday, 30 July
awesome! I am having a shower this Saturday and then my baby cn come anytime! Are you ready?

love - Monday, 28 July
hey there i did suffer with my back all the way through my pregnancy.. x

3rdboymom - Sunday, 27 July
Weather here has been hot & humid too it's cooled down the last couple days, but I'm still hot & sticky all the time. I have that same issue when I get up sometimes when I get up to pee during the night the pressure is so bad I can barely get out of bed let alone walk to the bathroom.

tdotali - Saturday, 26 July
I understand being bored with it...it's getting really hard to move!! But I believe that babies come when they are ready and we just have to be patient:)

I'm actually probably going to have to be induced in a couple of weeks. It's because for some reason, my placenta is aging faster than the baby. It's a rare situation..supposedly only 2-3% of healthy pregnancies have this. My doctor is not too concerned as my last ultrasound showed a perfectly healthy and growing baby.
She is taking precautions however, as I now have to go to the hospital once a week for a biophysical.
I'm going to talk to my doctor about natural induction methods, to see if I could bring it on without any medication, because I've heard that a medicated induction can be quite intense. If I get the ok from the doc, I'm going to try acupuncture and/or massage.
I'll let you know if it works for me, than you can try to get things moving as well. Our babies will be here before we know it

Hi,

I'm carrying mostly in the front as well.
My back and hips kill me and I've found that the only thing that really helps is swimming. I try to go 2-3x a week and it really helps. I think it's becuase it strengthens the muscles around the joints and that there's no pressure on the joints either.
Let me know it it helps. BTW, if you haven't been swimming yet, you really feel the weight gain when you get out!!!!

jaleca - Tuesday, 15 July
lol...is it like your baby feels like a rock sometimes, then all of a sudden it's back to normal?

myzion - Friday, 11 July
2ww (Two Week Wait)

joannemichelle - Friday, 11 July
Yes LOL! Same here. Its funny to watch, but gets painful... like she's trying to rip my seams and come busting out into the world!

My Husband and I just sit and watch (its more amusing than TV) but when she streches too much i start howling in pain! Then I try to push her little body part back in where it belongs.

But no Braxton Hicks here as far as I know :)

scorpgrl20 - Wednesday, 9 July
I will have to go with your name on this...Natalie Grace...I love it!!

myzion - Sunday, 6 July
Thank you! I'm on my 2ww. This is so stressful.
