All of my information and daily logs of how I feel were deleted along with my photos so I am writing this all again…obviously not with as much passion as the first time but here goes…my due date is 4/1/08 and I found out I was pregnant mid July. This was not planned and has come as quite the shock! Finally my boyfriend and I have embraced and are happily welcoming our baby into the world. I found out 9/28/07 that I am having a little boy. At first I was sad because I really wanted a girl but have done a 360 and now want a boy more than ...ever…my profile picture is my tummy at 16 weeks J

10/26/07

I am really starting to get a tummy...it is rounding out so much and I actually look prego to those who dont know me. It is fun, I am really starting to enjoy pregnancy. All of my horrible 1st trimester signs are now gone and I have a ton of energy and eat so much...I always feel hungry...my boyfriend is amazing and has changed so much. He did not want this at all in the begining and now he is proud to tell the world we are having a little boy. He keeps buying the baby clothes and bring home cute little outfits...I feel so lucky to have such an amazing person to father my child. My next appmt is 11/8 and I cant wait...I love seeing the baby and getting assured he is happy and healthy...I always need to see it os okay. I am not feeling any movement and am so stressed about it...everyone else seems to feel it and I am just hoping everything is okay!

11/12/07

Pregnant never felt better! I have energy, not sick with anything at the moment, and have an appetite that is very much out of control! I am always hungry...basically stopping to get food...on my way to pick up more food is how I feel every day! I have gained 14lbs so far and am feeling pretty "prego"...my doc said that at half way through 14 lbs is very healthy...and to plan to gain about 15 more and not more than that...I hope I will be able to manage that!

12/03/07

I have decided on the name Kaden Paul, he kicks and moves every day and my tummy is getting so big. I guess this is the time when you really begin to feel "pregnant"...it is so crazy, I fond myself starring in the mirror at my tummy from every angle. I never pictured myself pregnant or what I would look like and it is so crazy, but I will admit I think the big tummy is so adorbale. I have been eating the wrong foods the last two weeks...I am very upset with myself...fast food has never been my thing but I seem to want it more and more :0( Starting tomorrow...I am going to eat healthy again.

This chart is very helpful! Everyone seems so confused as what weeks we all are...

First Trimester1-4 weeks = 1 month5-8 weeks = 2 months 9-13 weeks = 3 months
Second Trimester14-17 weeks = 4 months 18-21 weeks = 5 months 22-26 weeks = 6 months
Third Trimester27-30 weeks = 7 months 31-35 weeks = 8 months 36-40 weeks = 9 months

Hi. I seen your post about the parenting being 80/20 at your house. I feel your pain. It's more like 99/1 at my house. My husband doesn't feed, change diapers,or anything really. The most he does is hold her while I run to the restroom or "start" dinner. We have 3 children and he gets better as they get older though. (He plays with them but still don't do any real work.)He is afraid of small babies or at least that is his excuse.

I feel your pain. Although I don't have bf or husband, I do live with my dad and sister who help out a little, seems like only when they come home from work, they hold Kaeden for a little bit til he gets fussy then they give him back to me. My dad was nice enough to say he would wake up with the baby and give him a bottle so I could sleep one night. When I agreed he said, "OK, well, how do I do it?" He has three kids and he's never given a bottle or changed a diaper!! So, I guess I feel my mom's pain too!

lol, i iagree! I'm constantly trying to figur out a way to make $ and be w/ reese...like yesterday i thought i could put an add in the paper to be a personal post-natal trainer & make home visits to teach moms how to work out w/their babies (i do crunches w/ reese on my belly, pushups while shes on her back under me and i kiss her each time i go down. tricep presses when i put her in the air, and i've started walking 2 miles/day with her in the front rider thing)...lol, but i;m not sure that i can sell people on that, lol. but if i could, i'd get in shape, play w/ reese all day, and make money! that would be awesome, lol.

I baby sat for years and for $1000 a month you should be able to get a really good sitter that would be one on one with your baby. I know if someone offered me $1000 a month I would jump on the job!

sickasadog - Tuesday, 29 April
I am with you. I have 2 more months before I go back to work, but having a hard time dealing with finding a day care and having to worry about my baby being in a day care more than 40 hours when you think about the baby having to be dropped off before work and picked up afterwards. ugh. i am getting depressed so i will leave the subject alone.

bellybumbles - Tuesday, 29 April
I'm actually looking for a new teaching job, but I wish I could find some way to make money w/out working, lol. Now that Reese is 6 wks old, it dawned on me that she's technically old enough to be in daycare and if I get a job that's what we'll have to do and she's still so new and small and I feel like teachers at the daycare can't possibly treat her as good as i can. I think it's a new mom paranoia bc all the moms I know and have talked to say they felt the same way, and their kids are fine...but still, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with it yet! I understand how you feel though.

Congratulations! I love his little toes in the last picture. So now that he's out here in the real world, how does it feel? What are you going to obsess about now? I'm guessing that life with baby is a lot more stressful than pregnant life. And to think, we were complaining for months about it!

CONGRATULATIONS! He is SO beautiful and I simply cannot believe that you had such a big baby in your small body! It's just surreal-he's this little person, and before he was this big bump! I can't wait to hear your story-I also had a feeling you were gone to deliver since you are usually so present on-line! Congrats again!

I'd show your puffy feet to the doctor next appointment, but it could just be water retention. My friend's ankles totally disappeared in her last week, and there was nothing else wrong with her - her blood pressure was fine. But you never know.

Kimbee003 - Tuesday, 25 Mar
if you push your finger in on your feet/ankles or where the swollen place is, and it stays 'sunken' in then, you could have preeclampsia, or you just could be very swollen and retained alot of water, either way you need to call your doc and let him/her know.
