I am 27 years old and I am expecting my 3rd child. It is going to be a boy. I could not be more excited about it. I have a 11 yr old boy and a 7 yr old girl. There has been some complications with this baby. I have placenta previa, shortened cervix and he has fluid on his brain. We go to the doctors office in 1 wk for a stage 2 ultra sound. So I hope that everything goes well. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years now. He is such a great person. He has a 9 year old daughter. So he is very excited about having a son. I am just counting down the days until I have my little one.

So I went to the doctor on August 24th to see if my son has hydrocephalus. We found out that he does not have anything at all wrong with him. He is just perfect. I guess since I go to a small town doctor that our ultra sound here is not that detailed so my specialist thinks that maybe they might have thought it was something. But turns out it is not. I am soooo happy he is ok. The only thing I have to worry about now is my placenta previa. But my doctor thinks that it might grow up with my uterus. So I hope that it does. Otherwise my pregnancy is going good.

Well I went into the hospital for contractions. I was having about 5 an hour all night. They checked me out and said I was not dialated but that my cervix is soft and stretchy. So they told me to just take it easy. I still have placenta previa though. I am still hoping that it grows up with my ever growing uterus. But as for now everything is good.

Well I officially do not have placenta previa. As I hoped, it grew up with my uterus. So now I can have a natural childbirth. I am very excited. The ultra sound said he weighs 3 lbs 12 ounces. He is getting so big. I just can't wait to see him. The doctor said he looks healthy and that he is just perfect!!!! So now it is just a waiting game for him to come!

Well I am 32 weeks and 4 days along now. I went to my doctors appointment today at 5 p.m. I am dialated to 2 on the outside of my cervix and still closed on the inside. So we are getting there. The babie's heartbeat was great. I am still having alot of pain down low. I hope that it gets better. Because it is getting hard to walk and sit sometimes. I have lost 2 lbs. I haven't gained anything yet during this pregnancy. But who knows maybe at the end here I will.

I am almost 38 wks pregnant. I had a doctor's appointment last friday and I am dilated to 2. So excited. I had my baby shower this last sunday. It was soo much fun. My mother put it all together and did such a wonderful job. I could not have asked for more. Te decorations were so cute and the cake she got was adorable. We played some games. We played games and got to visit. The day was just wonderful. My mother had got a corsage made specially for me. I cried when I saw it. And then my boyfriend had a blanket made for me that has our son's name on it. I had no idea. I cried so hard. He is such a sweetheart. So all there is to do now is wait for him yo come into the world!

I haven't posted on here in a long time. I had my baby on Dec 6, 2007. He weighed 8lbs 8 ounces and 21 inches long. I had 25 hours of labor. It sucked so bad. The contractions started right after they put prostaglandins on my cervix at 10:30 am on 12-5-07. My doctor didn't think it would put me into labor but it did!!!! I labored at home until 3 am on 12-6-07. Then we decided to go into the hospital after I had my bloody show. I had terrible back labor. So I decided to get an epidural. Well I have degenerative disc desease in my lower back and I did not realize that by getting the drugs it would kill my back the way it did. It hurt so bad to get the epidural. I wish I wouldn't have because I had him only 3 hours later! LOL But I pushed for about 10 minutes and he was out. He was just beautiful. The cord was wrapped around his neck and he was purple but ok. He has a knot in his umbilical cord. Who knew. That freaked me out because at anytime he could have not made it if the umbilical cord would have cinched up in any way. So I am just grateful that he is here and ok. He had some breathing problems after he was born due to inhaling some amniotic fluid. We had to stay an extra day in the hospital. But he is doing great now. I am so happy he is here. He is growing so much everyday.
