My name is ((Christin Alyssa)) and this is my first baby! My fiancee and I have been together for 4 1/2 years now. His name is Jeffrey and he is my true love! Our son was born on August 20th and his name is Isaiah Christian! I was blessed with a great pregnancy and labor and he was all worth all of the wait! I felt like I was pregnant forever but when I look at his face Im still amazed that he was inside of me. He such a good baby and he makes me cry just by looking at him since I love him so much! I have been on this site since I was 10 weeks pregnant and it was the best thing! My fiancee goes to work and school eberyday and didnt really understand what I was going through... I met some great people and Im glad I found it!

Hey!
Wow - next week? That is so hard to believe! Isn't it weird though that they were so worried about keeping him in (when you were on bed rest) and now he doesn't want out?! ha stubborn little fella! I'm nervous too about labor. I hate how it looks so miserable and painful - makes me wonder is it that bad or are these women on the tapes just wimps? I want laughing gas and I told my husband that I want him entertaining me to keep my mind off things - none of this breathe and be quiet stuff so all you have to think about is the pain... And it looks so gross coming out and all the stuff you go through afterwards, I know it will be worth it but can't help to not be looking forward to that! My cousin that just had a baby got me a bunch of these Gerber onesies that snapped on the side and had long sleeves that you can roll over their fingers to prevent them from scratching their face - she said they were great for the first week or so and the umbilical cord... Our nursery is Classic Pooh, Jazz had it when he was a baby and he was pretty excited about it. I wasn't so excited but now that the room is painted and the border is up I think it is adorable!! We are going this evening to buy the furniture - so excited! Maybe if we are really motivated we will start to put it together too! Once its up I will post some pictures!
We are getting our bedroom furniture delivered tomorrow - thank god, we have been sleeping on an air mattress for the past couple nights! I'm so excited though, we had a queen bed and now we will have a king. I'm thinking that I'm going to have a hard time staying awake for late night feedings so i'm excited to have some extra space in bed to let him lay and nurse. I know thats not the greatest thing to do, but I guess we'll just see how it goes. Do you have a rocker/glider?
Well, I better get back to work - I'm going home at lunch to clean the baby's bathroom and set up his Under the Sea bathroom decor - its so cute!

Oh - I still haven't been to the dr's yet, but my rash hasn't spread or anything - its kind of just a barely there rash on my palms - wierd! I go to dermatologist monday, reg OBGYN Tues and El-Azeem Thurs so between the 3 I'm sure they'll figure it out!

Hey!!
How are you doing? Any further along? It has been hectic lately and on top of that my hubby got food poisoning and has been miserable (he doesn't tolerate pain very well or get sick often) and my dog was puking and oh boy! I've been overdoing it lately, I've had some contractions...so I should probably slow it down a bit... but there is so much still to do! We got the nursery and bathroom painted - just have to put up the border, steam clean the carpets and order the furniture. Your nursery is adorable - bet you can't wait to add the little one in it! Do you have a bunch of clothes and stuff already? I have so much to take back from our shower... and then I have to write a million thank you's. I have the other shower in a little over a week and there's not much that I need... so I'm sure I'll be taking a bunch more back. Indiana is very nice from what I hear - we went to Indianapolis for a weekend once to watch the Steelers play and really enjoyed it! That wouldn't be bad and your right - its not that bad of a trip...you never know!

My husband and I did it together. We like retro stuff and I love bright colors. We're sure it's a girl, but I didn't want an all-pink room. I go in there all the time imagining what it will be like with her.
