Today we had our Drs visit and we finally got to hear the little heart beating! It was sooo exciting! My husband always had to work with our first ones appointments so this was a new experience for him as well. I have kinda gotten past my fears of not having an epidural available and am now just thinking about soft little baby cheeks, and soft curly hair.

I am still able to hide the fact that I am pregnant at work, but every day I feel the ligaments stretching more and more! Its so exciting to feel the little kicks and flutters!!!! I wish I were thin enough so that my hubby could too! I feel so much better these days and its amazing how unpregnant I feel when I am working and keeping busy. I cant wait until the first time my daughter can feel a big kick!!!!!!

I feel so happy!!! Right now things are going so well! Besides the fact that this weekend was payday and nothing is in my account ahhhh hopefully that will work itself out tomorrow when I go to work. My HR boss told me that they really like me and that they will be giving me four months of paid maternity leave that is so AWSOME!!!!!! As soon as I get paid its time to do some shopping!!! I can finally get rid of all my daughters old clothes I was saving just in case it was a girl!!!!

Actually, I haven't gotten anything for the baby yet except for a penguin onesie. I have 2 baby showers coming up this month and I'm know for sure that by the time it's all said and done, I won't have to buy a single thing except for daipers and wipes. We're getting married in may, so it's really important that we don't have to spend anymore money than we have to.

I've worried about what I'll look like afterwards too. Luckily because we'll have early summer babies, we'll be able to push em around in strollers and get a workout from walking! I think that's how I'm going to spend my maternity leave...

Hi there,
wow i thought i was the only one who felt like that. I must shower four times a day because i cant stand the smell of my self, oh and i went to get waxed and the same thing, i was so embarased, but then i know that they see alot worse. i just feel rolly and smelly everywhere. cant wait to be me again. love being pregnant though, its such a strange contrast.

Congrats on finding out you're having a boy! Looks like you already have a girl so I'm sure it'll be fun to have one of each. I have an u/s on Monday but we've decided to not find out the gender. We'll see if we can hold true to our original plan. ;) Best of luck!

Even yesterday I was told that I don't look pregnant!! Bulky winter clothes don't help though I guess. Oh well, from what I hear the smaller the baby the easier the delivery so maybe I should be happy that I'm not protruding too much yet. Plus, I can still wear my own clothes (well, pants unbuttoned, but tops, no problem).

I have been in Japan for eleven years- never expected to stay this long but it's safe and clean and easy to live here. The culture is interesting too, though frustrating sometimes. My husband is Japanese, but very open-minded and often mistaken for a 'foreigner' himself, especially now that he's with me.

Is that baby on the bed in your background your first child? That's a great photo either way. So cute! Can't wait!

Hello. I saw your comment on week 15. Yes I feel chubby more than pregnant!! I tried to take my first tummy photos and hated them all- I just look fat :( I can't wait til I'm showing enough that people know I'm pregnant and I can't wait to feel the baby move (and to know if it's a boy or a girl).
