Thanx for your reply on 'organizing' - I stay in SA and I'm struggling to get those draws. We have - but mostly for the office (paper use). I think they are a lovely Idea. Thanx.

When You have completed your nursery, please put up a pic so i can see. We were going to design a nursery and bought the paint and everything - and then decided against it. We only have a three bedroom place and my husband is using one room for his office and the other room is for guests. Baba will sleep in our room for the mean time - but the her clothes will be in a seperate cupboard. by the time she needs more space we can get a bigger place (4-5 bedrooms). I would love to see what your nursery is going to look like.

I dont think we are moving after all I just think something will go wrong since it hurts when i sit for too long... and it hurts when i walk so yeah i think its a bad idea for me to drive and no one can drive for me so i suppose i will just wait till my 6 week after the baby...

Alot of the ladies like to have the baby in the room the whole time for bonding which is great but when I had my last daughter I was so exausted and hadnt slept for more than a day that I was kinda glad they had the baby most of the time. They brought her to me to bond with her during the day and right after giving birth but it was nice to not have her in there when I was sleeping. I figured these ae my last nights to rest before bringing baby home and she'll really have me up. I guess everyone is different.

Lilli ,thanks for the post. I have decided to go with viacord. I looked up some comparison sheets on google and they were approximately the same pricing wise. I hope and pray that our lil one never needs to use it but we decided to go for it just in case.

yeh 10 pound is big i guess.. but my mum had big babies aswell.. so it doesnt sound so big to me hehe.. they are assuming by my dates its a big bub and they give an estimated weight through measurements in the ultrasound so yeh.. i am going to have a 4D ultrasound so i guess i will see for myself soon hehehe

I've breastfed my 5 babies and plan on breastfeeding this little angel, but I've never had any real success with breast pumps. Too painful. I've found it's easier to express the milk by hand. So be careful about spending a lot of money on something you may not use. Good luck!

I am going to rent mine from the hospital.. It is completely sterile and all new parts.. No milk will be in there and i have done a lot of reading.. It is alot cheaper!!! check with yours... Medela is though what Iwas looking at just to let you know!! good luck

the cutest little boy I know is named Wyatt, so don't you worry, I'm sure he'll be sooo precious and no one will make fun of him! we've been told that our little girl will get made fun of because we're naming her either Marlie or Lucy, people just dont know when to keep their opinions to themselves haha! but of course, I've only told the girls on here my names...my friends and family don't know! and once she's here they'll love her no matter WHAT her name is...same for your little one!

Saw your post about Father's Day. I'm American but my husband is from the UK. I found a onesie on Ebay that references a football team in his hometown in England. I think he'll really like it. I would recommend getting him something for the baby that references something specifically about him.

If I were you I would reschedule or not eat all day. Just dont eat for like 12 hours(about)...I guess at least 5 in your case. Schedule in the morning if you can, have a regular/large meal say 9pm and then have that be it til you apt at 9am-ish. You can have all the water you want. You want your stomach to be empty so that when that suugar rush hits you your pancreas will say..heck ther'e a ton of sugar here I better dump out the insulin. That will make you Blood glucose come right down and you will be normal for the test. That is if you dont have gestational diabetes, if you do it wont matter if you were fasting or not so you wont hurt yourself either way.

it's a girl!!!! when they were doing the scan i was holding my breath whilst she checked the heart and brain etc and u know u were right cos i just didnt care once i knew she was healthy! and then she told me it was a girl and i just felt like all my christmas' had come at once!!!:D:D:D x
