Hi. I am 20 years old (21 in November) and am married to a wonderful man named Zak. We got married on June 14, 2008 and actually found out we were pregnant two days before the wedding. We've been wanting a baby, but knew financially we weren't ready. But God had a plan and blessed us with a baby! This is my first pregnancy and I am so nervous and excited at the same time.

We have a 6 month old Shih-Poo and he is my world. Pictures posted...and you will see just how adorable he is. His name is Sir Edwin, but we call him Eddie. I have a feeling its going to be a challenge bringing a new baby into his world with him having to share all the attention, hugs and kisses. But, I think we can make it through. Hehe...I have been told I am a crazy dog lady.

Anyways, I am so excited to share with you all my experiences and wish all of you a healthy and wonderful pregancy.

Guess what ladies:

KYLE IS POTTY TRAINED! Today marks day one without diapers. All day yesterday he did great. Didn't pee ALL night. Woke him up this morning ran downstairs put him on his little potty and there he went. =] it's been 4 hours without peeing his undies! Feeding him some lunch now then off to the potty before nap time! =]

Bye bye Diapers! =]

I know this is just the beginning.. I am waiting for that first accident. But none just yet! =]

Another Question:
I plan on eating salads for lunch along with tuna. Then have salads for supper as a side. Which is best.
Bagged salad or buying your own lettuce head and the other essentials?
I think it's cheaper to buy your own lettuce head and add your own carrots, onions and whatever as opposed to buying a bag of salad, that usually lasts only 2-3 days for at least $2.30.

What do you do?

Hey ladies:
I have a REALLY dumb question but never knew a REAL answer.
Which is best: Frozen, Canned or Fresh veggies such as Corn, green beans, carrots and brocholi. I thought frozen veggies were always better than canned and Fresh are just as equivalent as frozen veggies because with frozen ones you can steam it preserving it's color and nutrition.

What do you think/ What do you know??

Hey ladies:
I haven't been on here much just for the simple fact that i'm busy these days..
I am still taking classes online for medical coding and billing.. My last semester will be the fall of '09 and I graduate Jan '10. I am going full time so that means more classes. Only 12 credits tho but it's enough when I have two babies to take care of that are up ALL day lol. I also got my old job back at Walmart working overnight (10-630)Friday and Saturdays.. Tonight is my first night back in 4 freakin months!! I'M EXTREMELY EXCITED but def will be super crabby in the morning. I've been up since 8 this morning.. Well I went to bed at 10pm last night got up at 3am and got a bath! Geez early bath lol. Then got up at 530 to get my hubby's coffee made for work.. Then back to bed till 8 and I won't hit the bed till 7 in the morning tomorrow! So just wish me some luck lol. I will be in charge of the kids tomorrow kuz hubby and his dad have to get our furnace in and piping so that we have heat. It's been about 35 degrees at night and we have NO heat! It sucks but I have the kids in our room with a heater that plugs in and blows hot air. Our room is HOT in like 2 hours lol.. Anyways.. Thought i'd update you guys since I really don't have anytime to myself these days!! =] I am still nursing my little princess and will not pump while at work kuz he doesn't eat during them hours at night anyhow.. So it works out just PERFECT! I know I will leak a bit tho but w/e..

I picked up my 3 yr old daughter the other day and starting having pain like you described. And after I go walking I have sharp pains that last all day. it's scared me but I could still feel the baby move and there was no blood. My Dr. told me it was round ligament pain. I've felt round ligament pain but not this bad and not for so long, but he said it was normal and to use a heating pad when it gets really bad. glad to see someone else's Dr said the same thing lol

Hey, I just read your post in week 19. Don't worry about the tylenol with codeine. I'm on pain management with vicodin. As long as it's not taken in the first trimester (when everything is forming in the baby), you are fine. There have been no findings of adverse affects in babies whose mothers have taken pain medication. It's okay, I promise!

dont worry about taking the tylenol with codeine i live on them from about 30weeks as i have servere back pain and the doctors and midwifes all assured me threw 2 pregnancys that they are fine to take and neither have my two boys ever had any kindof complications.
as for amoxicillin you need that to get over the uti so please do take this its harmless to baby.

as for the growing pains you were right to get them checked out as it could have been something more worse. I too suffered/suffering from them pains, and syattitca ohhhhhhhh it hurts sometimes and as aussiemum2be suggested a hotwater bottle/ hot bean bear works very well.

hope you are doing ok and that you start to feel comfortable soon.

i am soo pleased you having a boy, sooo many having girls. seems to be girl season im hoping im given a little boy i find out 6th october (though happy with either)

hey luvy. i wouldnt worry too much about taking a couple of pain killers. they wouldnt prescribe it if it wasnt perfectly healthy. i had those nasty nasty pains a few weeks ago. it only last about 2 weeks, but oh it was sooo bad! id wake up at 3am nearly every morning almost screaming with tears running down my face. i found that my hot water bottle or a heat pack provided some releif.
I hope it gets better
