Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hi how are u doing, i read ur comments in hi risk as well, as long as ur not smoking or drinking, doing rec drugs and making sure ur takin over the counter prenatal vitamins u should be fine, if u are really scared go to local er with stomach ache and pregnancy symptoms, THEY CAN DO AN ULTRASOUND TO TELL U IF UR OK, i did it once, when i couldnt get an appointment cuz i was very scared for my baby, GOOD LUCK KEEP ME POSTED, carly

I just read the comment you posted in high risk. You can go get prenatal vitamins over the counter so you don't have to wait till you get to the dr. Stay away from lunch/deli meats unless you heat it up to steaming before you eat it. But for the most part there is nothing you can do to prevent misscarraiges. Most are due to abnormal fetal developement. Drink plenty of water and try to think positive. I will be praying for you. just think you already beat the odds in the fact that you concieved at all month to month the chance of conception is only 25% only about 15 % of pregnancies end in miscarriage. SO the odds are in your favor now that you've made it this far. Good Luck
