Hey! I found my way back to this website after almost a 6 month absence. Its so much better than it was before.

Anyway, being a mother has been challenging. My baby was colicky for about 3 months and I had no help with her. Now she's wonderful though - but she doesn't sleep! She's going to be 6 months and weighs 14 lbs and is 23.5 in long. She still fits into 0-3 month clothes.

I went back to work after 8 weeks because I decided to take the rest of my maternity leave over the summer and now, summer is here. I only work 2.5 days a week and I'll have the whole month of August off to spend with my baby. I can't wait.

Currently, I have a live-in nanny who does everything for me so when I come home from work, I can just play with the baby. i don't have to worry about laundry or cleaning the house. thats going to change soon. Sienna's aunt is moving in in about a month to take over the child care reponsablities. Can't wait.

The babys father has fullfulled all of his promises. He continues to see the baby regularly and pay his child support without complaint...so thats good.

Girl I know what you mean about the drinking. We've got family coming over on Christmas day and I think I might have 1 glass of wine. I'm ready to have a drink and just relax a bit. I am surprised at how well the breast feeding is going. I pumped yesterday for the first time and got 3 oz after he had eaten. I'm going to start freezing it up and probably in a couple of weeks, I'll start introducing the bottle a little to him. I've got a plan of action to get him on the pumped milk. LOL. I don't have a myspace, but I'm about to set one up. I'm a little behind the times when it comes to being on line. I'm online at work every day and never really had time or desire once I got home from work to be on the computer. But I've decided I need one. Have a Merry Christmas and we'll talk to you soon!

Awww, you're girl is such a cutie. Are you breastfeeding? How is it going? I am and I have to say I love it. I'm doing great and so is Jack. He's gaining weight so I think we're doing it right, LOL. I'm so glad we FINALLY had our babies.

LOL, thats funny! My man is on the skinny side too (not like your jockey, but still...) and yeah, it totally sucks that I weigh more than him now!!! I was really fit before so this is a HARD adjustment and my husband is getting tired of hearing about it, LOL!

I used to work at Philly park. but then because of my exhusabnd we moved to Saratogo NY with the navy. when we were stationed there though it was harness racing season so i didn't get involved. I figured that one pic of you it looked like you were at the track but I wasn't sure.

I sold the manager and Mercedes last year and he really pushed for me to get the job. So much that, they split the position in two so my main competitor (who had more experience in marketing) got a job, too. She is really nice. She just had a little girl 6 months ago and recently moved here. This is a big military town. During my interview, they asked about me working from home and coming in a few hours a week while on leave, I told them sure. That means I will be getting paid while I am 'off.' Not many companies in NC provide maternity leave. At my last job, I only had two weeks of vaction time that I could have gotten paid for once I had the baby. Here, I have to wait 6 months before any vacation. So thank God for FMLA. I really like it so far and think I will be here for a while. They deal with the military so there is plenty of room for advancement.

I think those lower cramps you are feeling are Braxton Hicks. I went to the doctor yesterday and I told her my one side of my belly would get hard, but the other side wouldn't and I wondered if these were Braxton Hicks contractions. She said no, that's the baby pushing out w/ one of its body parts and that Braxton Hicks feel like menstral cramps that are low in the abdomen. So, maybe that's what you're feeling. Hope that helps :)
