Tuesday, 5 Feb thx so much for that advice ashleyalexandra -
Monday, 21 Jan Thanks for leaving me a message!! And I completely agree with you..I hate it when people have such negative reactions to club foot. It really is not a big deal at all!! He is healthy, people don't understand. My aunt told me she started telling people that his feet are 'slightly turned in' because she was tired of explaining to people that it is not a disease just a little problem that is easily fixed. I am not nervous or anything, I just can't wait to see him!! Well thanks so much again for the message it is reassuring to hear again that everything will be fine! I hope all is well with you and your little boy! sarahjay -

Monday, 21 Jan Thank you so much :) My friend has a PhD in Physiology but I think she made the diagnosis based on what she saw with one of her other friends active baby. Years later he too was diagnosed with ADD but she was saying that he was exactly how Jon was back then. But if its not even diagnosed till years later then maybe I shouldnt be so worried at the moment. Thank God that, that isnt her profession though otherwise every active baby would be a victim of ADD!!! Any suggestions on how to slow his pace a little. Even when lying on his spot he moves around way tooooo much. Not just arms and legs but body and head all move and he really craves for my attantion cries blue when he is put down....I mean I dont even know if this is normal. starburst7987 -
Friday, 11 Jan her feet are good. Shes on her second cast now. She has to have the surgery were they 'pop' the tendon though in 2 weeks. Im kinda scared about that. Other than that shes doing good. Suprisingly she doesnt even seem to know the cast is there. frstbaby -

Thursday, 3 Jan Hi there :) When I switched to nutramigen he did good but the blood wasnt always seen by the naked eye so hard to know for sure but I think he did do fine. I switched to alimentum because the milk protein in alimentum is even smaller then nutramigen so even though more expensive, it is better in my opinion. Walmart has it the cheapest next to ebay. I learned today when talking to similac that allimentum powder doesnt contain any corn but the ready made does. They did that intentionally so if a baby has a corn allergy too they have one more option. If your baby has a milk allergy or lactose allergy that is even more sensitive isomil has zero milk in it ~ totally milk free so even better in my opinion for milk lactose allergies. My older two were on isomil and I loved it. Nutramigen and allimentum are still milk based. I cant use isomil because Hunters allergy was soy that caused the blood not milk so that helped alot. ashleyalexandra -
Monday, 31 Dec Hello...your little boy is so adorable!! I was just reading your profile...and saw that your son has a club foot! well i am about 24 weeks right now and just found out that both of my little boys feet are clubbed. i am really nervous because the doctors can not exactly tell me how severe it is until after he is here. it just seems like such a long wait!! but i am also really happy because the doctors did a really thorough ultrasound and he is completely healthy otherwise, i can handle this because it is very treatable! anyways...if you have any advice for me let me know!! i am glad to see that your little boy is doing so well!! so cute! i wish my lil one loved tummy time! julz -
Monday, 24 Dec They used the Ponsetti method with my son too. He did have to have his heel cord lengthened, his club foot was pretty bad. but luckily it's correcting very well. they now have him in a splint, that he wears with his shoes during the day, because his arch and heel cord are too tight and he still wears his brace and bar at night, sometimes it makes him grumpy, but it's for his own good. He have a Shriner's Hospital for Children in our area, they give the best patient(and parent) care. At my next sono they are checking her feet, just to make sure. Your baby boy is soo cute, he makes me smile. :o) starburst7987 -

Friday, 21 Dec My son also has a left club foot, he's 9 months now, and the children's hospital had worked wonders. Just a little more work and his foot will be completly corrected. Congrats on your baby boy! carlalyn -
Saturday, 15 Dec PRETTIEST MOM
Once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms.
If you get hit again, You will know you are REALLY pretty!
So hit 15 pretty moms on your friends list to let them know they are
pretty!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Send this to someone who you think is a special Mom.''
