Hey lin, how's it going? pretty well here. I went to the doctor today and I am dilated between a fingertip and 1 cm. I guess that's good. I am hoping that I can have her this weekend, but knowing my luck I will probably go over my due date!! I am sorry to hear about your trip to the hospital. I hope you are feeling better now!! Let me know how you are doing if you get a chance!!

I know the little taste of pregnancy that I had makes me want to do it again, although I did not go through the entire pregnancy, but I would have given every ounce of my being to be able to have a baby that would live. I will send strength your way!

How are you feeling these days? I can't believe in less than 2 weeks you could be holding your baby! I had an u/s on wednesday and the baby weighs 4lbs 4oz, which is a relief because they were worried that it was going to be a big baby because I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead. Let me know how things are going!

I feel your pain.Did u find out what it is?It does feel like a pulled muscle or something.I am only in week 33 and was reading ahead because I feel like I am farther along than what they think.

Yeah, that site is kind of radical, but I really needed it, personally, because I was such a big time smoker. I was up to two packs a day -- more if I got it in my head to be upset by something.

Lin, I know JUST what you mean about worrying over whether you'll pick up the habit of smoking again or not. I kept saying, during my first pregnancy, 'when this is over, I'm going to smoke and eat chocolate!' I was fine after I delivered the baby... but someone brought a Hershey bar and pack of cigarettes over to me as a joke, and guess what? Yep. I started right back up again. My fault really, I should've just thrown them away. Lin, I reccomend you visit: www.whyquit.com . Download the PDF file NTAP, which stands for 'Never Take Another Puff.' I keep it on my desktop and when I get to hankering for a cig., I open it up to anywhere and start reading. There are also pictures of black lungs, clogged arteries, etc. to help turn you off.

LOL@ cleaning. I sit here and look across my wood floor and see the dust and I am like ok today I am going to get up and do it... then I find an excuse not to, I am sorta mad at myself for not doing it tues, now my feet are so swollen it hurts to stand, but I have been having a lot of preterm labor signs in the past 2 days and I think I am dialating so I need to clean I can't put it off any longer. Of couse eventhough I have all those symptoms it could still be forever away! LOL. How are you doing? Oh I want to go to mexico- where did yous stay how was it.. I wanted to move there but man they make it hard for americans to do so...

It's funny because at my 18 week u/s I told her not to tell us and when I went to the dr he read out loud that they didn't get a good view of that area, otherwise if they had written it down my dr would have read that aloud and blown it for us too. I'll ask the tech to not write it down for the dr just like last time. I'm so exhausted these days, but I guess it's understandable seeing as the baby is growing super fast these days, can't wait to see how much they say it weighs. Scary to think I'm measuring 34 weeks already. My husband just told me that he might have to go to Calgary on business in October and I'm like figures, the baby will come 3 weeks early just because it'll run out of room and he'll miss the birth! I'll maybe post a pic or two of my belly. I freaked out the other day because my computer crashed and I was sure that I'd lost all my pregnancy pics...so lesson learned, always back up your stuff!! The nursery is no where done...no theme to it, just furniture and stuff thrown about from the hand-me-downs we've gotten from people so far. I guess the baby could still change positions, but I really hope it doesn't because having a breeched baby that's big won't be easy to turn. Have any good neutral theme ideas?? Do you have msn?...it would be nice to stay in touch once our babies arrive.

I'm glad I waited to find out the sex because I love surprises! I'm just worried that I'll accidentally find out at the u/s. I keep thinking that I'm doing good not having stretch marks, but I still have 10 weeks to get em. I had my apt this morning and the baby has grown another 2cm in one week so that makes me 34cm now I guess...scary! I can't wait for the u/s! Have you had one recently? I wonder if they can tell how much a baby weighs through an u/s. The baby is head down so hopefully he/she stays that way from now till delivery. Have you got everything ready? My nurery is still in progress and I'm not even close to being prepared. I really don't want an epidural and all the stuff that goes with it, but if the pain is too much I'm sure I'll be screaming for one.

Can you believe how quickly stretch marks appear?!?! I woke up one day and had them on my boobs! I don't have any on my tummy yet, but I'm sure they're on the way...you got yours at 32 weeks?? I'm not going to find out the sex...even tho everyone is bugging me to find out so they can shop. If I can wait, so can they! I'll keep you and your baby in my thoughts and hope things turn out ok. I can't believe you're almost there? Are you getting scared about the labor? Are you going straight for the epidural or are you going to give natural a shot? I have another dr apt tomorrow morning so we'll see if the baby has grown much this past week. I can't wait for my ultrasound on the 29th! I was almost 11lbs when I was born so I'm hoping that this baby isn't going to be like it's mother. I'm so excited for you. Have you had any contractions yet?

yeah i guess its a possibility, the low amnio levels would cause intrauterine growth restriction or growth retardation and the feet (if it happens early enough in pregnancy) will club inwards due to lack of growing room. Ive learned so much this pregnancy! Good luck! Its a super easy fix though...the club foot. Not a big deal at all.

Girl you look smaller than me! Sorry, you ended up with nasty stretch marks too, it stinks. I just added a photo that shows some of mine, I got one that is a lot worse but I couldn't bring myself to put it on there! Wow I haven't started loosing my plug yet, or nesting.. Actually I am the furthest from nesting you can get, I lost all my energy and sleep half the day and most of the night minus potty breaks! The dr swears I have to be having braxton hicks but I don't feel them either. lol. Maybe my boy won't come he'll just stay in there and keep on growing! OUCH! When dr said big I got scared now I fear labor and delivery! Good luck to ya!

Hey lin, everything turned out to be a false alarm, they found absolutley nothing wrong with her kidneys. They said she is going great and measures about 5lbs 14oz already!! They re-estimated my due date at Sep 5th. I am so excited and relived. Now, I have my baby shower tomorrow and then next friday is my last day of work and then I am done!!! YAY!!! I still want to wait until at least Sep 1st to have her becuase I like the September birthstone better, but I am just so happy that she is ok!!!! Thank you for all of your good vibes. I am sure they helped!!!

Let's see...at week 30 my babe weighed 3 lbs 9 oz...so, she's only gained 1 lb 10oz in 4 weeks...it's nice knowing her weight. It's weird to think she is bigger then my sister was when she was born! She was only 3 weeks early! We are approaching our 9th month and the final stretch! Yahoo!
