Hi Lin...congratulations. First time mommies usually drop 2-3 weeks before labor (around week 37). They say 2nd timers drop right before delivery.

You can 'drop' any time from about 36weeks with your first, but some people don't until actually in labour, usually your second one will drop much later. I went too my doc a week before I had my son and he said oh you've dropped and I said oh have I - I felt that huge that I couldn't really tell the difference. Sometimes it is very noticable due to all of a sudden there being lots of pressure in your bladder and cervix/vaginal area that wasn't there before. Have fun good luck I am due on the 16th

Exactly! LOL! Just thinking about it, I'm only 18 and have have this big responsibility other than go to college and stay focus on my work. Now I have to go to college and take care of my baby boy. Hopefully it won't be that stressful, some say it will since I'm majoring pre-med.

Yeah I know! The day I seen my baby was the best day this year...so far. I don't know they say the cut back on u/s cause the have radiation in them and it's not good for the baby. The 3D/4D don't have radiation, but they are more expensive. I just want him to grow and get here healthy.

Just wanted to tell you that you and baby are in my prayers. I know you must be overwhelmed right now, knowing what was said and now what they are telling you. I know I have been. Anyway hold your head up and know God will fix all that may or may not be wrong!! :)

Yeah I know. I have pooh everything! It was crazy on how impatient I was with that first and last ultrasound. I'm on medicaid, so I only get one ultrasound for the entire pregnancy. That sucks. I wish I could get them as I get closer to my due date, just to check up on him you know.

It's good to hear that I'm not too off track with the weight gain. I think you and I are similar builds so it's nice to hear that we are similar in weight gain! It's so strange to put on so much weight so quickly because I've always had a hard time gaining weight and I don't even know where the weight is going...I can't imagine I've gained 18lbs just in belly, but it isn't showing much elsewhere. I can't wait to not be pregnant either because I'm already soo uncomfortable lying in bed and I already waddle when I walk. I sleep with a million pillows and grunt and groan everytime I roll over in bed. Scary to think I have 3 more months of major growing to do. I can't believe how soon we're having our babies...especially you! I can't wait to hear about your labor experience..lol.

How have you been?? I've been packing on the lbs...hard for me to adjust to because it is happening so fast and I'm not even eating much more than I use to. If you don't mind me asking...how much have you gained up to this point? I'm around 18lbs prepregnancy. Let me know how you're doing!

thank you. im trying to put my mind at ease, i did do some stuff during my second trimester, and im hoping they dont. i dont know what i would do if they took my baby away, i already feel horrible, but im trying not to stress too much:(

oh yeah i know what you mean, before when i was smaller my bf's family would be like, i thought you said you were pregnant, you dont even look pregnant, they would say stuff like that all the time even some people now try and tell me im having a boy because the shape of my stomach, even though i tell them im having a girl. well your lucky your hubby stands up for you, mine just tells me to get over it, he les his family do w/e and if i ever have anything to say about them he gets so pissed. watch next people are going to try and tell us how to raise our babies...cant wait for that.
