My profile My name is Lindsay. I'm 25 years old. I am married to my high school sweet heart, seriously. We've been together since the summer before 10th grade. We were married 07-07-07. We just recently celebrated our 9 year anniversary and 2 years of marriage. What's a better wedding anniversary gift than finding out your pregnant? We weren't trying but, couldn't be more happy. Everyone thought we would wait until we were in our 30's. Haha! My "Expected Due Date" is April 10th, 2009. I just found out August 19th that I was pregnant and have already read the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting".
Update: So I started having this brownish spotting Wednesday around noon and was told it was normal and that it was old blood and not to be concerned. Well yesterday which was August 29, 2008 just 10 days since I had found out that I was indeed pregnant. I started bleeding bright red blood. So at 1:30 p.m. my husband took me to the ER. After urine and blood tests that all came back normal they did an ultra sound and told me that I was actually only 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Which was fine with me. The Dr. went on to tell me that it wasn't a tubal and that the baby was where it was supposed to be and blah, blah, blah. After all this non-sense he said there was on OB on his way to do a D&C for me. I was so confused and still am. The only reason they could give me was that their was no heartbeat. Even the discharge paper they sent me home with after the D&C said "We do not think that you have had a miscarriage." And "if the bleeding and cramping stop within the next day or so the fetus will survive." My Dad is a nurse and can't understand why they would put that in my paperwork. I'm just devastated. It's hard to believe how attached you get to something so quickly. I'm not going to the TTC forum. I wish all of you girls the best of luck and to the girls who have miscarried prior to this pregnancy and have tried again more power to you. I hope you all a happy and healthy pregnancy. Take care!
Update: Hello Ladies it's Thursday September 4, 2008. It's been almost a week since my D&C. The Doctors office called Tuesday and said they needed me to come in Thursday to check my HCG levels to make sure they are going down since the D&C. I was simply going in today for blood work and when I got there I informed the nurse that I was sent home with NO after care instructions. So she said "the Doctor wasn't going to see you today but, has decided to talk to you about the after care instructions". Anyways what I looked up myself on the internet was better than what he gave me. So he goes on to tell me about the pathology report and he let me have a look at it myself. In the report it said "no fetus". Crazy huh? The reason for my visit today was basically because I had not passed any tissue before the D&C and because there was no fetus in the canister afterwards they think the fetus is still there. What the heck is this supposed to mean? I was already really confused now I think I'm just insane. Please someone tell me something. Love you all. OXOXOXOX
June 23, 2009 Update Took a HPT last night and this morning got 2 BFP. My due date should be about February 11, 2010. I'm really excited but, keeping the secret between my husband and I because of the disappointment from our miscarriage last August. Woo Hoo!
