Ok so here's my story, about 7 or 8 months ago now I got diagnosed with PCOS, after finding this out my husband and I decided to stat trying to conceive with the help of clomid. I concieved after my third cycle and hubby and I feel like we are both completely blessed. We have been married a little over a year and have been together for 8 1/2 years, he is the most beautiful, caring person I have ever met and I feel truly blessed to have him as my life partner. Now we are sharing this beautiful journey together and couldn't be happier.



My ultrasound at 12 weeks showed that everything was perfect, my little bub is so beautiful and I have never loved someone so much.

I started feeling my baby move at 15 weeks, and bub's just getting stronger and stronger, it's so incredibly amazing.

I have my next ultrasound on the 7th of August, and I am finding out the sex but hubby isn't he wants a surprise, he's stronger than I am, lol.

Ok well I had my scan yesterday and I have a perfect little GIRL!! Just as I thought. She was beautiful and perfect of course. She was kicking and wiggling and she waved at us it was wonderful.

Well for the last few days bub has been kicking a bit harder and if I'm quick I'm able to feel her on the outside of my tummy.

Ok well I haven't updated my page for ages because for some reason the computer wouldn't let me. Well less than four weeks to go and I feel huge!! lol. I'm starting to get really excited but really nervous to. The hospital I'm going to don't do epidurals unless you're really really not coping, so I'm a bit scared, lol.

I had an ultrasound the other week and my little angel was weighing in at a little over 5 pounds, so my guess is she will be 7-7.5 pounds.

Hubby and I have finished our birthing classes now, I have to be honest and say that they didn't tell me all that much that I didn't already know.

Well summer has officially hit here and it's getting hot!!!!! I can't believe how swollen my ankles are now, well I'm not actually sure if I have any anymore, lol.

I can't believe how time flies, when I first got pregnant everyone used to tell me that it was going to seem like it was taking for ever, but it hasn't it's gone so quickly and I'm loving every minute of it, except when bub is quiet!!!! I like it when she's a little hyper bean, lets me know she's ok in there, lol.

Latly people have been telling me that they think I will go early because my belly has dropped but I don't know, either way I'm quite happy to wait until she's ready to come.

Well here I still am 1 day past my due date!! It's getting really hot here which is making me cranky and uncomfortable, but I would rather hot weather than cold.

I'm so ready to meet my little bub now, I just wish she would hurry up, lol. I'm so tired now, not that that will change when she arrives, lol.

Still can't really decide on a name so I've just decided to wait and meet her first.

Well it happened! Alice-Ann born 7th of Jan, 7lbs 12oz. Seriously I found labor to be very traumatic for me. My waters broke at 5.30am and I was at the hospital by 6.30am and pushing by about 7.30am. Alice was in the a deflexed sunnyside up position which made it impossible for me to push her out without the help of the vacume. The doc and midwife didn't pick up that she was in the wrong position until the end, thats why so many hours of pushing!! The cord snapped so the doc put his hand in to get placenta due to a big hemerage, I had a server 3rd degree tear which landed me in surgery, I lost a total of 1.5 lts of blood. Oh by the way my labor progressed so quickly went from 4cms to 10 in an hour, that I wasn't able to get pain relief!!!!

BUT Alice-Ann is the light of my life and all that pain was worth going through for her!!

Well Alice-Ann is 6 weeks old now and things are starting to get easier and i feel less tired, well I don't know if I feel less tired or my body has just adapted to the lack of sleep! lol.

So the whole breastfeeding thing didn't work out, Ally just wouldn't latch on unless we were in the shower together, and I just wasn't producing enough milk to continue expressing. Oh well Ally's healthy and that's the most important thing.

Ally smiles and chuckles now which is really great, she certainly knows how to melt my heart and her daddy's. She's really good at holding her head up, but she's been able to do that since she was about a week old, the health center nurse says shes very advanced and that she acts as though she's about 2 weeks older than she actually is.

We're slowly getting into a routine now some nights I get a solid 4 hours then a quick half hour feed and back to bed, once I got 5 1/2 hours, I'm hoping that happens again, lol. I have to say that now I really enjoy night feeds, it's our special time together, she's very relaxed and doesn't usually cry she just looks at me while eating and then goes off to sleep. As for during the days, she's been unsettled lately and will only sleep in her swing during the day. I love her so much, words can't even describe it, I just truly love her to bits.

Well I haven't updated for a while, I've been to sleep deprived to even bother, lol.

Ally's growing like a weed, a very beautiful weed!!!!! I can't believe that it was 9 1/2 weeks ago that I gave birth, time goes by so quickly, I'm trying to cherish every moment because before I know it she'll be off to school and I'll wonder what ever happened to my squigy smoodgy little baby girl!!!!

Well not a great deal has changed since my last post, I have Ally in a routine now which can be hard to hold down some days, but I am trying and that's the main thing. I really hope she starts sleeping a little more through the night, I'm not asking for a lot just a little. She seems to have done a turn around, I used to get her to have a 6 hour stretch at night but now she barley makes 3!!!! I'm so tired, but I do forget that when I look at her beautiful little smile!! She's started to scream with delight today, it was wonderful to listen to, so cute.







I decided to make people Easter photos instead of buying chocolate!!!

Well I didn't think I would be writing this post so soon but Ally slept a 6 1/2 hour block last night, woooohooooo, I ended up getting around 9 hours in total, YIPPEE!!! And my attractive blood shot eye is pretty much clear again. Wow I really hope she keeps on sleeping like this, I mean even if she wanted to sleep more, that would be ok with me to, hehehehe.

Well I got my period back today, geee it's weird, I haven't had it since this time last year!!!! At least now I will be able to keep track of what my body is doing.

Well we finally got our cool change and it's just wonderful!! Ally can snuggle up at night time which I'm sure helps her sleep a little better. I can't believe how fast she's growing!! She has the cutest little rolls of fat on her legs, hehehe.

Well Ally rolled from her tummy to her back today!!!! It was so exciting!!! She just looked at me like she had no idea what had happened, hehehehe.

Well Ally's sleeping is still all over the place so I'm going to be trying her on a little bit of rice cereal to see if that will help. I know a lot of people are against giving babies as young as Ally anything like this but I'm at a loss as why she's not sleeping much. I've tried everything, I've even increased her volume of formula and it didn't seem to make a difference, so I don't think that her formula is sustaining her. Oh well I will see if the rice works or not.

I picked up my photos today, some I had to make a bit smaller to get them on here so they don't look as good. I'm so happy with the way they turned out. Oh tried the rice cereal last night, didn't make a difference, but it might take a few nights so we'll see.

Well I have had the worst week!!!! Michael was in a work accident and is not allowed to walk for 12 weeks. But the worst is behind us now. It was so horrible watching the love of my life in intensive care, I never want to relive that moment. My Mum has been here helping me with Ally which has been a great help, seeing though I don't really trust anyone else to look after her. I love my Mum so much, I hope Ally grows to have the same love for me!!!!

On a positive note Ally has been loving her rice cereal and today she had it with applesauce. I know some people think feeding this young is a big no no but her bottle just wasn't sustaining her and she has taken to the rice really well.

Ok well I haven't updated my page in a while.......I have no excuse other than I've been slack!!!

Ally will be 5 months old tomorrow, geee I can't believe how fast time flys!!!! I am getting a decent amount of sleep at night now, I would probably get even more if dummies/pacis we're never invented!!!!!
