My Firstborn

This is my firstborn, but my second child. I have a three(almost four) -year old step daughter, who is super excited to be a big sister. I can't wait to see if we are having a boy or girl. I feel so excited and blessed, words really can't describe.

First Sonogram

So we had our first sonogram 5/22. My stepdaughter got to come along so she was so excited to see her baby brother (she is convinced that it is a boy even though we don't know yet) on the screen. I had explained to her that the nurse was gonna take a picture of the baby and she had been looking forward to this for a week so we decided to keep her home from daycare and let her tag along. I was so nervous and excited at the same time, my husband was nervous that we were gonna see two babies. Anyway, when our one little gift popped up on the screen I was so elated, I couldn't believe that there was a baby inside of me for real, I guess it hadn't really hit me until then since I am not showing or anything yet and haven't really been "feeling" pregnant. Also from the rump to head length the nurset old me that I was 11 weeks 1 day pregnant, not 9 week 6 days like I thought and that my due date would probably be more like December 10 instead of December 20. Its up to my doc I guess on what due date we're gonna use. Anyway, check out the sonogram image....so unreal :)
