Hi, my name is Lisa. I'm 25 and expecting my first baby in March 2008. i found out tues july 24 when i went to the dr's-not even b/c i thought i was preg., b/c that didnt even cross my mind-not even when the doc said they were gonna give me a pregnancy test...but i will never forget when she came into my little room and told me that i was pregnant!! i was in shock! i had a stupid grin stuck on my face and asked her "are you serious?" immediately i called the baby's daddy (on and off bf of 3 1/2yrs) he was completely speechless! we weren't expecting this but we also hadnt been preventing me from getting preg. since oct. of 2006...and now here we are...

Oct. 23-I went to the dr. yesterday and found out IMMEDIATELY that i'm having a BOY!!! he wasnt shy at all w/ showing what he had!! he even waived!! he's gotten so big since 10wks when i last saw him!!

NOV.19-I had a dr's appt today. I've gained 9lbs in the past month.(now at 143) woohoo! hahahaa (might as well be happy that my baby's growing!) Dr. started the measuring of my stomach today as well-totally forgot to ask what it was. (will ask next time)

NOV.21-I'm so overjoyed now! i FINALLY have a name for my little boy!! As of yesterday and w/ lots of thanks to the women on here who have helped w/ suggestions...his name will be JORIAN JAYE!!!

DR APPT-DEC.17.....i've gained 6lbs in the last month.(NOW AT 149) i go next wed for my glucose testing. and i'm now going to the dr every other week!!!! wow!! its getting so close!!! im so excited to see my baby!!! i wanna know what he looks like so bad!! i hope he's got his daddy's eyes/eye lashes and lips!! awe!! he's my little mixed baby!!! =) i can't wait!

Jan-9 (30 weeks) Still feeling great!! I had a dr. appt today-i've gained 4lbs in the past 3weeks. (i hit the 150 mark-making me @ 153) lol. baby is very healthy. I passed the gestational diabetes test but my blood count is low so Dr told me to start taking iron pills. (baby is hogging all my blood.) =) omg!! i'm so excited!! he's finally gonna be here in 10weeks!! i get my 1st ever baby shower in 5weeks-courtesy of my best friend thats flying in town just to be there AND she's the one throwing it for me! i'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family!!!

Jan.23-i'm slightly upset-i had my bi-weekly checkup-i've gained 8lbs in the past 2weeks!!! buuuut somehow i've gained 3lbs overnite. =/ i had a diff. appt yesterday and they weighed me and i was at 158 (which was 5lbs gained in the past 2weeks) and then miraculously today at my appt at the dr's i'm at 161??? i dont understand it. although i'm wondering if its b/c 1) i started eating meats again or 2) i drank too much water before i went to my drs appt (i wanted to make sure i would be able to pee when i went)...oh well we'll see where i'm at in 2weeks.

FEB.6 (34WEEKS) i went to my appt and i wait for the dr for AN HOUR!!! i started to cry in the room b/c i started feeling like no one cares that this is my 1st baby. is it wrong to wanna be treated special b/c your carrying a baby!?? (and no the dr wasnt out delivering another baby b/c i kept hearing her in the halls outside my door) so anyways, i didn't gain any weight in the last 2weeks so my weight is still looking good-still 27lbs gained and i'm now going weekly.

FEB.14 (35 WEEKS/1 DAY) I go for my weekly checkup-maybe they'll tell me something. so far it's always just been the normal-measure my belly, check my heartrate, hear baby's heartbeat and ask if i've had any BH.....i'm really wanting to have him on st.patrick's day but i don't wanna be induced! i want him to come when he feels he's ready...HAPPY V-DAY to all you mommies and mommies-to-be!!! (gained 3lbs-164)

FEB.20 (36 WEEKS) i had high blood pressure when i got to the drs so they waited a little and then it was normal. i'm getting a sono next week to see how my baby's facing and to see how big he is. i'm so excited!!! (gained 3lbs-167)

FEB.27 (37 WEEKS) FIRST OFF- my baby's daddy came w/ me to the appts today!!! (only one he's been to this ENTIRE pregnancy!!!) and i got a sono-they measured him and we got to see baby!! he's head down and he's approx. 6lbs.12oz.!!!! awe!!!! he's got chubby cheeks. he's so adorable! then i had my regular checkup-and i didnt gain any weight the past week! woohoo!! and dr. said next week she'll start checking how far down the baby is...we both got to keep a pict of our son!

Hi everyone! Aloha from Sierra. She had her 4-month Well Baby visit on Monday and weighed 13 pounds 9 ounces (50th percentile). She's long and lean at 23 1/2 inches (75th - 90th percentile) but has a peanut head (25th percentile). Overall, she's doing splendid.

We're on the plane right now - heading to California to see the family. It's rather exciting except that the oil filter on the plane has to be replaced so rather than revving the engines and taking off, we headed back to the gate for a repair. It's a little scary if you ask me and we've successfully missed our transfer flight. At least the kid is chill! So, if you hear about Flight 92 crashing, you'll know who was on it! I hope you all have a good day. We'll post some pics shortly. Dunno if I can do it from my cel. Tootles and Aloha! Jeni and Sierra

thanks for commenting on my shower question.. We are from two different states.. and it isnt that his family doesnt like me or anything but who wants to come to a party when you barely know the guest lol... Coed sounds like a good idea

I hope so too, it is less complicated that way for you all and just have the communication going for your precious son. I'm really glad to hear things are improving. Not so here, bd just stormed off after our talk insisting he's getting the court involved and will not go to mediation. I really hope things improve, this is robbing me of spending quality time with her and not thinking about this. I hope you're doing well. How's the little guy? It is so amazing how each day they seem to change and how alert they are at such a young age. Keep me updated on how things are going.

i love him giving my tuim a rub and a kiss its lovely i just feel bitter ill only get from 30 weeks till the end of that n not all the time like other ppl but i got it back now n were working on keeping things good and i think hes gonna move in im not sure when tho

i didnt think me n andy wud after all he told everyone i was repulsive n hed not get back with me coz of the baby coz its not fair ont he ki etc but he decided he wanted to
lol n i jumped at that chance n he does seem hapy.

i worry he think hes jsut playing house tho but im sure that feeling will pass when babys here hehe

im gonna go jump int he shower now hun be back in a tick xxx

were gettuing along fine too lol its fab n i keep thinking its too good to be true then he goes n does somet even better lol hes fab hes trying so hard. he got really upset the other day n rang me up to ask if he cud buy a new drum thing coz his broke coz hes not got much money left n he feels bad about it coz baby still needs some stuff lol

hes so sweet hes wlrking his ass off and been very good with his mates and hes canceled the gig in london so hes not away from his baby n me or away for the birth etc :D:D xxxx
