Im Lisa, me and my boyfriend, soon to be husband are expecting our first child together due October 18th. I have a wonderful 10 year old daughter from a previous relationship and shes very excited about becoming a big sister.

Update!!! July 2nd 2008....

Jerry and I finally got married! We were joined together forever on June 20, 2008! We couldn't be happier! Well... so we thought, that was until we went for our "Big" ultrasound on June 30th just one day after Jerry's birthday and found out we are going to have a precious baby boy! I never in a hundred years thought I would have a boy but I'm so happy, and of course Jerry is too. We have had the name picked out for a long time which is Jerry Calvin Lee...Jr! I cant wait to hold him. So far I have had a perfect pregnancy! No morning sickness, no heartburn, no complications, nothing! I'm so thankful too. I was over weight before I became pregnant and my dr. only wanted me to gain between 10 and 15 pounds throughout the entire pregnancy and so far I have lost 14 pounds. Thats sort of scary but my doctor doesn't seem too concerned and as long as Jr is happy and healthy that is ALL that matters to me!! August 18th 2008....

We had what will probably be our last ultrasound before our little man gets here. We are so excited and cant wait to see him. The ultrasound tech told us that he already has hair! I was so afraid he was going to be bald lol. Anyway, he is laying sideways with his head near the right side of my ribs and hes facing my back which explains why I haven't been feeling him as strongly as I was a month ago. But seems to me that everything is going great and hopefully we will get to see our precious baby boy in about 10 weeks! I do have to say I'm a bit mad after my appointment today. I had a Dr. appointment scheduled after my ultrasound today and my Dr. decided that he wasn't going to see me after all. This far in my pregnancy I haven't had any complications, questions, concerns, etc. so our visits have pretty much just been to weigh, take blood pressure and hear the heartbeat. I guess he figured that since its never been too exciting for him when I had my appointment that he decided that I shouldn't have any questions or need to see him this time so he just sends me on my merry way. I have another 2 weeks to wait now until I have an appointment and the questions that I did have will have to wait until then. If we do decided to have another child I can say that we will not choose him to be our OB. I feel like I am closer to the nurses than I am my own Dr. I would rather have them deliver my baby than him! Thats sad. But hey, it's a busy office so that makes it ok right? Ohhh yea, I was so afraid that I had gained so much weight over the last 3 weeks but turns out that I have lost 4.5 pounds! Who would have thought? I eat sooo much, I eat when I'm hungry! But that puts me at 18.5 pounds down from when I started this pregnancy.
