newbaby1 - Wednesday, 26 Mar
Hi lisa! I am so glad the birth went well!!! I am so sorry to hear about the fall! I can't even imagine how you must feel :( I am sure little Cash is just fine but now that I am a mommy I completely understand how you must feel. I can't wait to see pics of your little man and read your birth story. I ended up being in labour for 37 hours and pushing for over 3 hours!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!! I am so in love! I can't wait to catch up with you!

i fell down the stairs with my first baby when he was two weeks old also! i fell from the top step! they were carpeted and i lost hold of him about half way down. i freaked too, and the guilt i felt was like no other! he ended up being fine, i'm sure your angel is ok. they are so resilient at that age.

Jo-Mama - Wednesday, 26 Mar
I'm sure Cash is ok and that his tear duct is just clogged like other babies' eyes are clogged. Are you feeling ok? I can't imagine how stressful it's gotta be worrying about such a tiny little guy.

Take care! Congratulations. Hopefully you'll have a few smooth and easy going weeks now to make up for the last ones.

Oh my gosh, you have had a rough couple of weeks. I hope Cash is okay, I'm sure they would have found something right away if he wasn't. Best of luck to you and your family!

Well.....by now you are probably holding baby cash in your arms!! I am so sorry I did not get a chance to message you before now. I am so glad the amnio was okay and that you already have your little man. I thought about you all day and I hope the c-section went smoothly. It has been such a pleasure becoming your friend....we have to keep in touch on the talking babies website! Well....I am going in tomorrow morning so wish me luck! Your friend...Melissa

Hi, You should be a mommy to another little boy by now! Hope everything went well and I'm glad everything worked out with the amnio. No baby for me yet, just the computer being down. Today is the final day that my husband will try to work on it. My doctor's appointment went well. My bp has gone down to 92/68. Stressful morning today though, so I don't know what that did to me. Hope to hear from you again during your c-section recovery. You will be busy!!

Jo-Mama - Friday, 14 Mar

baby2soondue - Wednesday, 12 Mar
hello. i'm in england so it may be a little different. with my first child i had nail polish on and they took it off when i was taken down. they told me it can be a sign when your nails turn blue, and being awake was no different

rachele - Wednesday, 12 Mar
That is sweet. I hope my husband will be able to do all of those things. He is really nervous now. I called our childbirthing coach and set up for us to meet with her to discuss the c-section process and what to expect this time. I just hate going into a situation and not know what to expect. Especially with doctors because they talk above my head.

rachele - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I was wondering about my DH and how he will respond to the whole thing. I've heard that the baby doesn't cry right away and that they are all blue. Do you know what I should tell him about what to expect?

Jo-Mama - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I heard that you can't have polish on because they look at your fingers and toes to check your blood circulation. But if they have an issue, they'll take it off themselves. They are really picky about stuff like that when you go in for surgery (or so it seems). When I had my wisdom teeth taken out at the hospital (I had medical issues) they said I couldn't even wear a tampon. I had to wear a hospital pad with a big belt like in the '70s. Crazy.

They might leave your toenails be though. Who knows. I'm starting to see that all hospitals and doctors are different.

mommyinthesky - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Yes, bad time for the computer to go out. My husband bought a new hard drive last night and he thinks he can install it. We'll see. The computer has been a good distraction during this time and it's a pain to come to my mom and dad's to use it because when I come over here it's better to visit than do online bill paying. Oh, I so know what you mean about operating better in crisis mode. Although I'm quite the planner, there are some things that are better if I don't have weeks on end to worry about something, especially things I have no control over. But you've had a baby before and you are prepared and you and baby will be fine. And you are right, it could be any day for any of us. I'm so glad that we are far enough along now though. Take care!
