Benjamin David was born on Christmas Eve, 2007 at 3 a.m. on the nose - this was exactly two years to the day after my husband proposed to me! I had always joked around about how I didn't know how we'd ever top such a wonderful Christmas Eve - well, we just did! Ben (named in honor of Ben Folds) weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19.75 inches long. What a perfect, wonderful gift.

Update, 8/25/08: I've been meaning to put an update on my page for along time. Ben turned eight months old yesterday - where has the time gone? In the past two weeks he's started crawling, rolling from back to tummy, pulling himself up on furniture and his crib railing, letting go of the furniture to balance unassisted, and two days ago he even pulled himself to standing in the middle of the living room, without any help at all! He's such a big boy now.

i'm only going back so soon because my principal is mean and was rude when i told her about taking more time. anyway, to make a long story short: my students would get a different sub every day and i wouldn't get insurance if i didn't return after six weeks. oh, how they take care of NYC teachers!!

I hate the carrier, but he still fits in it...so I am holding off. I think I am getting the radian. Jamison refuses to sleep day or night. It is HORRIBLE. he was up 6 times last night until I finally put him in bed with me. i broke down and was sobbing! I can't take it anymore. he is the happiest baby in the world, I think at night his teeth just bother him. Who knows. Looks like Ben is getting some chubby little cheeks ;-)

Hey Lisa, How did everything go yesterday? I hope everything went well for your bbq!! Again I am sorry we couldn't make it, I swear Wesley screamed half the day!!! IT was such a hard day for him, I think it was between his teeth and his ear!! How is Ben doing? Wesley really liked getting Bens letter Yesterday too!!!LOL I found it really cute that he already had his own address label!!! It was very cute and thanks again for the coupons :) Are you doing anything Wednesday? I was thinking we could do lunch or something.. I will only have William and Wesley, because the girls will be in school...
