Benjamin David was born on Christmas Eve, 2007 at 3 a.m. on the nose - this was exactly two years to the day after my husband proposed to me! I had always joked around about how I didn't know how we'd ever top such a wonderful Christmas Eve - well, we just did! Ben (named in honor of Ben Folds) weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19.75 inches long. What a perfect, wonderful gift.

Update, 8/25/08: I've been meaning to put an update on my page for along time. Ben turned eight months old yesterday - where has the time gone? In the past two weeks he's started crawling, rolling from back to tummy, pulling himself up on furniture and his crib railing, letting go of the furniture to balance unassisted, and two days ago he even pulled himself to standing in the middle of the living room, without any help at all! He's such a big boy now.

Hey Lisa, My doctor said it was time for hard soled shoes during the day time to help with standing and walking... The shoes help to support there ankles a little bit :) How is Ben doing? And when Is our next playdate?

So I just pureed my first baby foods and what a disaster. Firstly I learned to butymore than two of the same thing! LOL. I got like 4 or 5 cubes from two peaches! I felt like it was a bit of a waste? Do you get more? And then I pureed some squash and the bottom of the blender started to leak to DH got the brilliant idea to pick it up and unscrew it! DUH!!!! So i ended up with squash splattered from my cabinets to the floor! managed to salvage 4 cubes of squash. So after an hour of pureeing I prob. have enough food to feed jamison for about....a day. LOL. Hopefully i get better at this. Do you have any tips?

Kira loves the maya wrap but I regret spending $92 on the Ergo! I thought it'd be more comfortable but it's really not. It's kind of awkward w/ all the straps, etc. Maybe I just have to get used to it.
How's everything going for you? I can't believe our babies are 6 mos now! Where is the time going?!? It's getting harder again for me to leave every morning for work. She's just so darn cute! I hate to miss out on all her smiles and laughter during the day. 6 months is so much fun!
