Hello!!

Iam pregnant with my first baby! ! ! It is very exciting but also a little scary. So far everything has gone good. I am just starting my 2ond trimester and my worst morningsickness symptoms are going away as they are soppose to do. I have feelt my baby moving for about 2 weeks now, I really didnt know what it was I feelt until I read in my pregnancy book that it can feel like butterflyes or small airbaloons bouncing against my stomac area...I still don't feel it every day, but sometimes at night! I can't wait to find out if it is a girl or a boy! First I really wanted a boy, but thought it was a girl, some how it just feelt like a girl when I found out I was pregnant. But then my husband had a yogi telling him "your wife is carrying a boy" so since then Iam confused....but really, I will be as happy for either:)

Anyway, congratulations to all off you "glowing" women out there and hope you all will get a healthy happy little one:):):)

Week 16

Already, time goes so fast I think, by now Iam not comfortable in my regular jeans anymore.....it sucks, but on the other hand Iam getting a little curious to get more "contact" with who ever is in there and to see my stomac grow! I have got one of these Bella bands and it works great! I recommend it. We also found out that 2 of our friends are going to have babies the same month as me, exciting!!

week 17

The big thing with this week is that Iam now feeling my baby kicking everyday!!!!! Doctors appointment on wednesday and hopefully a time for anatomy scan soon:) Cant wait to find out what "it" is.................................

IT'S A GIRL........

WEEK 24!!!!

OK, WEEK 24 and my girl is doing awsome! I feel her moving around all the time and everymorning I wake up feeling I have been growing over night, my skin is streching!! No strechmarks so far!! Been geting a couple of different creams so we will se if they work? I have been putting on way to much weight so far 23 pounds, and for me who has always been a skinny girl it is crazy!!...but I'll loose it again, Iam not worried:)

My girls name is going to be: TEHOLA.....nice ha:)

Umm I guess I'm just a tad nervous and it's silly because my first csection was an emergency c-section where as this one will be scheduled. You'll be fine especially because you know you are having one. My first one, my incision became infected and I stayed in the hospital for five days because they had make sure I was okay. The reason being is because they didn't have as much time to prep as they do for scheduled C-sections. My daughter's umbilical cord was wrapped around her body and she wasn't withstanding the contractions. I was actually put under and when I woke up it was over and my little sweetheart was her little bed. The cut is in your lower pelvic region and can barely be noticed. It was sort of numb around the incision area for a while and the healing process of a c-section is a bit more painful than that of a regular vaginal birth. But all in all just know that you get the same results as somebody who's had or having a vaginal birth. Just rest assured that whatever the reason is for you having a c-section is much safer for your newborn than trying to deliver vaginally. I've met so many different women who sort of turn their nose up to c-sections but personally I am totally fine with the idea of not being in labor for hours when I'm going to end up with the same results as anybody else....a healthy baby! ...I hope I haven't blabbered too much and I hope that this little tidbit of my opinions and experience helps! Good luck with your little one and remember if you haven ANY questions always ask your doctor because the more comfortable you feel with he/she..the more comfortable you will feel when they make that incision.

I would say it will be 6 weeks...just to be safe. You can ask your dr. but even though you may feel fine at that time you don't want to do anything to bust open. I am a little nervous b/c I will be back in class 4 weeks after she is born. I am hoping she comes at 37 weeks. I have been through it twice and I still get a little nervous. I am feeling ok. Very tired and uncomfortable but that is to be expected. How are you doing?

First...relax. It is scary but it really isn't that bad. When you wake up you will be in some pain but you will have some pretty good medicine to keep you feeling numb :) I just about cried when the nurse came in to get me out of bed the first time...I thought she was crazy! But she told me the sooner I got moving the quicker I would heal and feel better. Trust me when I say I was not convinced. I did get moving and it did get easier. The second one I had I got up on my own and was doing so well they sent me home in 2 days. So, my advice is to get up and get moving! Trust me when I say you will feel much better!!!

Umm not really nervous...actually relieved and excited because this C-section will be planned as opposed to my first one that was an not planned. My first experience wasn't all that great because my incision became infected due to the fact that prepping wasn't done as thoroughly as it would have been if had been planned. Is this your first c-section? I'll tell you though...I'm getting a little restless and impatient! =)

nah not really I had a c-section when I had my son. The first one I was nervous because it was an emergency c-section, and after that it had gotten infected, and that wasn't fun!! But, this time I have a speacialist doing it and it's planned. I had the choice to have a vaginal or c-section and I decided to have another c-section just incase...cause last time they just rushed in my room threw an oxygen mask on my face stcuk the needle in my back and that was scary cause i had no idea what was going on besides it was my first pregnancy!! But u shouldn't be nervous it's nothing to worry about I was up and walking around a few hours after my c-section. It takes a lil longer to heal but, I think it's better!! If u have any questions feel free to ask!! best of luck!!
