I am excited and nervous! This is my first baby and I am full of curiosity and joy! This was a huge surprise!!! I guess that is a good thing since I have loved surprises my whole life. I really can't even imagine holding my own child! I don't think that this pregnancy has really hit me yet.....but I'll tell you what has. Morning sickness, mood swings, being tired, a superwoman sense of smell, and much more :) I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir! I pray for a heatlhy baby and have really just started thinking about the fact that a baby is really growing inside of me!!! I am also in denial that my belly is really going to get big. I just finished a hard year of working out and eating healthy to get in better shape. I just lost 37 lbs. and now.......SURPRISE. Wow! :) I love life. If it was predictable it would be boring. I have not gained any weight in my first trimester. I actually lost 10 lbs. I have been so sick. I look forward to eating healthy and staying healthy in my pregnancy for myself and my baby. My boyfriend has been awesome. I look forward to my next appointment in a month when he will go with me for the first time to the Dr. to see the baby for himself. I know it will be a huge thing. I can't believe that I saw an actual little tiny baby in my last ultrasound complete with a beating heart. (tear) I cried the whole way home. I could not believe that the last time I went to the Dr. for the confirmation I was staring at a tiny dot that was my "baby" and at ten weeks I could see kicking legs and boxing arms!.......from MY child. Could anything be more exciting than that?!! Getting sick does not bother me so much after I heard that heartbeat and saw those little kicking legs. When I get sick now I think of those tiny kicks and smile through the misery :)
I will pray for all you mothers out there for healthy, beautiful, and smart babies. You are beautiful. Keep your heads up no matter what your situation is! :)
I can't wait to hold my baby in my arms, tell them I love them and give them a kiss!!!
12-5-07 Well......My next appointment is this Saturday. I am excited. Maybe my Dr. will be able to tell me the sex early since she is doing an U/S. I am hopeful. I love the people I am meeting on here.....what an incredible support system of strong women!!!!! :)

That is probably a good idea because people may have some loony comment about the name but will love it as soon as it is attached to your baby. Does it sound right when you say the name and talk to your belly? Does it seem to fit?

Cute bump pictures! Looking good! I know what you mean about sudden rapid growth. Joe did a double take on me a couple of weeks ago, and again today. That is pretty much how I gauge the growth spurts. When he goes 'wow you are huge!' with all of the eloquence that only man can muster. :) He is being sweet though and baby girl isn't messing around. Post your 18 weeks! You are looking good in your 11 week, but as big as your baby daddy is, I wouldn't be surprise if you bump has leaps and bounds! Congrats on your lil boy. Any names yet?

Everyone keeps telling me he is a big boy but the dr. said he was growing right on target. :)
I am barely 5ft and my boyfriend is 5'8 so we are short petite people so I don't think we are going to have a huge baby... but who knows?

AWWWW congrats! How exciting!! I hopefully find out on the 16th! Cant wait!! I agree .. i had never felt so sick.. all the time.. but as soon as i saw my first u/s with the kicking legs and punching little arms.. it just makes your heart melt! Itz the most beautiful thing ive ever experienced! Congrats again!!

Congrats! Don't you just feel so much closer and more attached now that you know your baby a bit better? Yay! A lil boy! Go get em with the lil blue outfits, you deserve a day of holding little clothes up and picturing your lil guy! We live in California. Post some pictures ok? Your bump, the baby u/s, the first outfit, whatever. That way we can at least celebrate over the computer! Congrats again

yes~ i started having them at about 16 weeks. i knew right away what they were from my first pregnancy. now, i only get them maybe once or twice a day now. dont be alarmed ..its normal...your babys bloodflow to the placenta is intact thats all!!!...i have been felling good. i am steady falling in love with my baby everyday...its so amazing that another human being is growing inside of me!!!

Hey... thanks for the photo comment! I love it too. I never got it colored in because everyone tells me that it looks too good as it is. Who knows though because I now have 3 stretch marks that go right into it so I may have to in order to cover those up. No biggie - just hurts like a sonofa... LOL!

Hi! When I went to the Dr. on Wed he said I would be 15 weeks in 2 days-but that doesn't make any sense to me bc I my LMP started on a Thursday so who knows. I am confused also because I have my due date as the same on every website I go to, and two that send me weekly updates-one changes on Thursday and one on Friday-CONFUSING! I am sure my mind will change come June but I would love to have it 2 days late- 06-07-08 - and I will be done with school for the summer too! When are you finding out the sex?

Did you notice that it switched our Week to 15? I guess it does it on the correct day, just in the afternoon instead of morning for some reason.
Ah well.
I just booked a 3D/4D and they said they will be able to tell us the gender next weekend (th 22nd)

I am 15 weeks today too-but won't be able to get another U/S until Jan. 8-I hope we can find out what it is! Are you due June 5 as well?

PS. Haha! It is funny that you write that. I was just thinking the same thing this morning! My doctor told me Thursday is my 'day'. And I celebrate that the baby is still there and look an new week's changes on the website.
PS. Did you get an early u/s at your last appmt?
