Our baby girl is finally here! Sofia Isabella came into the world on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 @ 5:32 pm via c-section. She weighed 10 lbs 13 oz and was 21 3/4 inches long. I had a scheduled c-section for Thursday, April 24 but when I went to the doctor on April 23rd for my Pre-Op appt, my blood pressure was a little on the high side, so my doctor thought it would be best to do my c-section that same day! I have posted lots of pictures on my page! Check out all of her hair! She looks just like her Daddy! We are so happy and excited that she is here! Everyone absolutely adores her, especially my husband and her big brother! Austin is such a great big brother. He has been such a big help! He loves holding her and singing to her. My husband just loves being a Daddy, he is even changing stinky diapers!!! I am exhausted but I am slowly recovering. Please keep in touch!

My Daughter - who remains nameless (thats why I've not posted anything yet), was born on 22nd @09.47 I'm going to do a birth story, she was born within 75mins, and I had just walked onto the labour ward (my waters went in the corridor!) and she was delivered in 5mins, weighing 8lb7oz (not the 10-11lb they expected). Big Brother & Sister (+ Daddy) are very proud.

I still have no idea what the flesh was, yeah..I almost passed out when I saw it! I have to wait until wednesday to find out what it is, the docs don't seem concerned AT ALL, which baffles me! aaah. well what can we do? haha. hope everything is great with your pregnancy, not too long now!

it's 7.53pm over here, and I'm due to be induced sometime tommorrow, I wanted to spoil myself to be honest, I'm going to make a day (or 2 or 3) of the massage (lol), so too late for a pregnancy massage for me, although I going to wave my smelly feet in Steves face again tonight (as I have been doing quite regularly), he'll do anything for me, bless him.......

Confident is a great word to describe it. I laughed my butt off when he said it and told how far she really was up in there but he is still adamant about it. Oh well... I guess I will just have to wait for this little girl to come out on her own or go for my scheduled section on Thursday. Hopefully, she comes before then.

I dont think I would've felt it if it would've been in my backyard, I haven't slept well for weeks so DR finally gave me some Ambien, one of those babies and I was in sleepy-land all night, took till 9am to totally wear off - but DAMN it was worth it!

Yes, if you are scheduled for a planned c-section, and go into labor, then they have to try to do an emergency c-section, and it's difficult to get all of the staff there fast... I can understand Doc's reasoning.
I'm feeling okay overall. Pretty crampy, feeling really stretched in the tummy, just ready to be done!
I'm praying you will have a safe delivery!

Hey there! All of my family is in Chicago IL and they were telling me about the earthquake. This is all pretty scary, seeing that this does not happen up there! Out of the 22 years that I lived in the city we never experianced anything worse than bad snow storms....
I cant imagine how you all feel, I would have been scared to death. I hope that mever happends again. Take care and try to find some peace today.

no they are just waiting things out hopefully my water will break soon i had hell of contractions last night and some this morning so i am just waiting for them to get stronger. I have had alot of discharge sorry if tmi) i hoping this full moon does something for me cause i am so miserable.
