Hi, My name is K.J. and I am having my first (human) baby in April 2008. I had my first ultrasound at 18 weeks and found out I'm having a boy! I can't wait for him to get here!

For the past 6 years my dog Skout has been like a child to me. After having a miscarriage almost 7 years ago I got her as a puppy and she quickly became my baby. She filled that void in my heart very well and she has been one of the best things in my life. She taught me so much about life and how to grow up...how to put someone before yourself and how to love unconditionally. She is a Jack Russell Terrier and if you don't have one you may not know they can be pretty troublesome...she was a very challenging puppy and she taught me a lot about patience. I am so glad now that I got to experience being a mother to a dog before I take on the responsiblity of a child.

I believe things happen for a reason and now I'm at a point where I can handle the responsiblity of someone else depending on me for everything. Unfortunately things between my baby's father and I didn't work out but we are still friends and he wants to be in our child's life.

Another very important person in my life is my baby sister Sabrina who is 10 years old...she is my best buddy. I include her in everything I do and she is just an awesome kid.
