My name is Christie, I married Josh 4-24-05, and we are expecting our first baby 4-7-08. Very excited to be pregnant.

August 27th- Feeling ok, still very tired. I can't wait until Wednesday when we go for the u/s. I have invited my Mom to join us and she is really excited. I get so hungry now, and then I go to eat and I am full really fast. So now I just eat 4 small meals instead of big ones. That's all for now.

AUGUST 29TH- Well, today was really exciting. My Mom and husband joined me for the first OB appt. They did an internal ultrasound and we got to see the baby. The heart beat was strong at about 141 BPM. So the Dr. was happy with that. He did however chnage my due date from April 7 to April 15th for now. We are sure on the conceive date and the date of my last period so I don't get how he can change how far along I am? I am just relieved and happy to see the baby. It was really cool to have my Mom involved too! The Dr. did give us the option to find out the odds of our baby having Downs and Cystic Fibrosis? He said to think about it and decide in the next two weeks. I don't really know what to do with that though.

October 1st- I don't know where my last posts went, they are gone all the sudden but here's my update. I am now 14 weeks and feeling really excited about that. The CF thing is all behind us now and the baby is fine. On Sept. 28th I went to the OB and they re-measured the baby and he is really big now YEAH! They changed my due date originally from April 7th the the 15th but now they changed it back to the 7th. My huband and I went to N. Carolina and Maryland last week on vacation, that was a lot of fun and the down time was needed. I will update more soon.

October 26- Today I had my 16 weeks appt. Everything is good, babies heartbeat was good and I have only gained 5 lbs so far- go me. I am relieved. Feeling kinda down today in general beacuse my girlfiren who is 21 weeks is getting induced in Monday due to her water broke. Hard for me to be happy about my healthy pregnancy when I know she is losing her little girl.

November 5- Well this weekend was a joy. Saturday morning I woke up puking. 6 times in 1.5 hours. I had nothing in my stomach so it was really bad. Finally went to ER at the advise of my OB (he thought I was having a gallbladder attack). I spent all Saturday there, when I could have been with my friends knitting. Grrrr. All they did was rehydrate me and give me meds to stop the puking. Oh, also found out I had a UTI. Still don't know why I got sick, but feel better now other thatn the headache I have had since Sunday. Big ultrasound appt is November 20th can't wait. We are NOT finding out the sex though.

November 20- Today is the big ultrasound. I can't wait. Couldn't sleep lastnight, my legs were really hurting. It's still undetermined weither or not we are find ont out the sex today. We both kinda want to wait, but kinda want to know now. What to do?
