Day by day...

I'm just starting to get used to the idea that I'm pregnant... each day I feel more hopeful as I can really feel my body start to change. A couple of big weeks are in store, with some tests that will let us know what's up. Keeping fingers crossed and feeling good vibes!

November 24 -- This is it, I'm officially in T2 and it feels good so far!! Except for the head cold I caught a few days ago that made Thanksgiving not quite as festive as usual. I spent the day on the couch with my dogs instructing my neighbor on how to baste the turkey! It's nice to feel the belly growing just a bit, and my body does feel pretty good. I had some intense pain around my low back and hips for about two weeks which was a bummer. Made it hard to bend over, sit, sleep, you name it. Then one day, the pain just melted away. The chiropractor thinks it's from the pelvis starting to shift and changes in ligaments. I went to see an acupuncturist as well -- that was interesting for sure.

I have an appointment with my OB this week when I will be past 15 weeks. Not sure what will be next as far as testing goes -- integrated screening or the detailed ultrasound... We have to decide whether or not to do the amnio, but I'm pretty sure we'll go forward with it.

I'm starting to have baby dreams. Weird ones!!

Today is Christmas day, and it `s the day we opened the envelope telling us we are having a baby boy! It `s so exciting and feels great to know the news. What a happy, lazy day we have had. I love my baby boy already!
