Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hey there i just read your message in week 23 about the babies already weighing over 1lb each. i am having twins too and was at the hospital yesterday and mine twins have pretty much doubled in weight in just 2 weeks! 2 weeks ago they were around 13oz and 15oz, yesterday one was 1lb13 and the other was about 1lb8!! (i can't rememebr exactly-i was just in shock!)
so i have to go back next week to check they are ok and for twin to twin transfusion syndrome and to get some steroid injections to help their lungs develop just in case they decide to some very early!
the docs, although they are concerned that they are growing very quickly said they are ok for now.
so if yours are only just over a pound then i would say don't worry! if your docs think there is anything to worry about im sure they'll take precautions!

i see you already have 4 children including one set of twins already! i come from a big family and i love it! you will certainly have your hands full but it'll all be worth it! my brother and sister (twins) were born when my other brother was 13months old so it was hectic in our house but so so much fun!

Wow, second set! This is my second twin pregnancy too...my first son was a twin, but I lost the twin at around 8 weeks. I am just blessed that my oldest son hung in there. :) Are your twins identicals? I heard that identicals are not hereditary, only fraternals are.

My kiddos are much more spread out in age - I do wish they were closer together in age, but they're not - LOL

i had to ask my dr after not seeing him for 4 weeks if i could use his scales to weigh myself only to find i havent put on any weight in 4 weeks he said babies seem to be ok so nothing to worry about at the moment but more weight would be good your lucky in a lot of ways you have been down this twin pregnancy before so you have a better idea of what to expect if your not comfortable try another dr i have to drive an hour for my clinic which has told me they want me to do all my visits with them and not shared care but i went to dr because there was a 6 week gap between my next clinic appointment an d a good thing as i have been having dizzy spells with blurred vision

so is your docter worried about you losing weight mine said last ultrasound said babies were ok but would be good to see me gain more weight i dont know weather to be worried or not

i was wondering at my 14 week appointment in 4 weeks i hadnt put on any weight how is your weight gain goin prior to this i had already put on 6 kilos

very shocked it took me 5 years to decide to have my fourth so to not have planned this and then find out there is two not tomention i am going to have 6 kids was just mind blowing i think at 15 weeks its still sinking in a question though well lol a couple is your docter doing your due date by your lmp or by ultrasound measurements and are you suffering dizzy,blurry spells

my daughter had hf&m when i as 4 wks and my ob said not to worry too much, wash hands A LOT and avoid kisses or anyhing where saliva is transferred. brookes went away after about a wk and 1/2

Hi , dont worry I have 4 weeks old twins and was about the same size as you before I got pregnant , I was still wearing some of my normal clothes at 20 weeks and only gained 3 pounds in the whole pregnancy , my babies were born 3 weeks early at 5lb 3oz and 6lb 4oz and are both doing really well.
