Thursday, 17 July Thanks again
You're right, if it was an emergency they would treat it as such and I assume that they won't let me past my due date either. I'm glad that everything worked out for you.
Good luck on your next one

Wednesday, 16 July Thanks for answering my question...I have a couple more:
How far along were you when the doctor's induced you? Did you know previously that your placenta was aged when it started to detach? If you knew previously, what type of precautions did your doctor's take? How many more weeks 'older' was your placenta than your baby? Was the induction planned or did they induce you once the baby started to show sign of distress?
Sorry for the abundant amount of questions, but I just found out yesterday, and there's not a whole bunch of info out there. According to the ultrasound doctor everything looks normal...his weight, blood flow etc, my placenta just looks older than it should. It's just that I have so many questions and my OBGYN is on vacation this week so I can't see her until next week.
