Wednesday, 16 July Hi honey, do a web search for pelvic girdle pain...i've had terrible back pain since 18 weeks, which is worse the more active i've been in the day. apparently caused by the relaxing of the ligaments holding your pelvic together causing movement (essential for childbirth unfortunately!!) hope this helps x sunrisehill -
Wednesday, 16 July Thanks for your support it was a tough day yesterday. Is it murphys law or do people spend time thinking about how to mess up my life. I hope everything is good now. Good luck. Redllk -
Thursday, 12 June Yeah, we lucked out b/c either way, we were going to use our mom's maiden names, either Bayley or Victor (if it was a boy). I'm glad it's a girl b/c I like Bayley better. I like both names Charlotte and Marley. Both are not commmon and I think the nick name Lottie is cute. Have fun trying to figure that out! I'm starting to get to the point of wanting to be done, but not ready for the labor and delivery! Well, have a good one and talk to ya later. Redllk -
Tuesday, 10 June Yea for girls! Well, I heard that you definitely need to bring home a blanket that the baby has her scent on. (I read this on Petco) They also suggest your pet smell the diapers, wipes, powder... And when you come home from the hospital, greet your pet w/out the baby b/c you haven't been there (have your husband hold her) and then slowly introduce the baby. I hope that works! I'll have to tell you in a couple months if it does. So, do you have names picked out? We were lucky b/c "Bayley" is my mom's maiden name. Well, have a good day and talk to you later! mattsbabymama -

Sunday, 1 June i was underweight with my first 2 pregnancies. i gained 18 lbs total with my first thanks to a good diet, active lifestyle and a good metabolism. With my 2nd pregnancy however i was a gestational diabetic, slightly less active and i ended up gaining 56 lbs!! With my first born i was able to leave the hospital in the clothes i had b4 i was ever pregnant and was lookin good about 2 months later. Even with all the weight gain in my 2nd pregnancy i would say i was back to normal within 6 months. breastfeeding of course REALLY helps with that process. I dont think you have much to worry about. Besides any doc will tell ya its always better to gain too much weight as opposed to not enough :)
oh and ive technically gained 8 lbs so far. i lost 10 to begin with due to morning sickness so im still 2 under pre-pregnancy weight. and i do have a 7 yr old and a 4 yr old to keep up with so im EXTREMELY active these days lol. mommy2be9911 -
