Hi everyone! My name is Sarah and i live in South Wales (UK). My hubby's name is Paul, we've been together for 7 1/2 years, married for 4 of those! On August the 11th of this year at 2.22pm our gorgeous baby girl arrived by elective cesarean section, weighing in at 10lbs 8oz and measuring 55cm!!

She changes everyday and is completely amazing, we couldnt be happier or prouder!

I hope everyone is doing great!!

Hey! We have had quite the week. I was induced on Monday and was in labor for 11 hours and 23 minutes plus 22 minutes of pushing. It was fast in the end and he was born weighing 10 lbs 4.6 oz...a big boy! We had some complications from delivery because he was so large and we were sent to Denver to The Childrens Hospital...and spent the next few days there...we were just released yesterday night. We are back home an enjoying our new baby....he has to be on oxygen for right now because of the problems we had...we had shoulder distotia (sp?) and it damaged a nerve in his neck that went down into his diaphragm (sp?) and paralized his diaphragm which pulled it up into his lung....he is breathing much better and like I said is just on oxygen right now....we are home and I will be posting pictures shortly...how is your little one doing?

You are uber fertile after giving birth, so im having the implant i think, not really into the injection as ive heard from loads of people that you gain weight and ive done enough of that! So long as the implant doesnt mess with breast feeding then thats cool, other wise it the good old johnny for me!!!!! Good, its like shagging a crisp packet but i dont want another in quick succession at all. Ive had an uber sit pregnancy and i really wanna speand some serious time with JD and we wanna buy our own place as opposed to renting, i have my own place -think i told ya- so im looking to sell that next year at some point. And we wanna get finances in order etc etc.

Yeah i dont mind you sending ur mob number - better changing that other than your house that youve just built!!!!Hahahahahahahahahha.Bless ya x x
I didnt know epidural wasnt recommended, but i guess looking why it all makes sense as i wouldnt know its too far, - bloody hell, im going to die arent i? Ill be best friends with Mr Gas and Mr Air!!!! Lol

Glad to hear that shes gaining weight, all good and healthy then.
Is Paul ok with you giving me your number?And giving Rhi the rattle??Dont want to cause upset! It uber clean and only sat on the top cot changer for decoration, and its never been used by a child, so no worries there.

I am sooooooo tired today

its not even funny, i was up most of the night as i was F***ING hot, 5 pillows all in all i use and all they do is retain heat, it bollocks, i was trying to sort the covers out with my feet as sitting up hurts and i was half asleep but i ended up fucking it up and dragged the covers off steve, he woke up- not that he was fully asleep as he was well hot too, and he had to make the bed, i shouted ' what ya doing thats my side of the cover?' He ws like ' No Dawn its not, let me do it.' and i responded with ' Ahhh fucking hell i just wanna sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!! I could cry!'
What a knob!!!! Lol. So no in response to your text the night was hot sexy! more hot frustration,i cant deal with this anymore! Lol. But he knows i didnt mean it and we laughed about it today, so i suppose its ok.

We did have cheekies a couple of days ago though! We didnt last long though as neither of us have had in ages!!!But he held off long enough for me, and then i was knackered for the rest of the day hahahahahaha!!!

Nice to hear from you, I bet you are tired bless ya, i was laughing when i read that you handed her to paul and he was still awake an hour later- i was actually pissing myself- but then i remembered thats gonna be us soon, and its not that funny is it??!! Lol. Shit!
Im sure she'll settle soon, well done on the smaller maternity stuff - i think ill go back fairly quickly(i hope) but i have more tiger stripes now, even though using bio oil im still getting them but they are silvery not red which is the purpose of the oil, but i wish they wouldnt come at all. It doesnt matter to Steve at all, but i can see myself getting really conscious about them, i never used to wear bikinis anyways as i also had a pot belly but now i KNOW i cant wear them, and its a little more depressing if you know what i mean?!
SPD is bad, its jsut physicaly draining though, and i dont think people realise that, being in constant pain drains you anyways- never mind constantly carrying a 7mth pregz bump all the time.
I plan to take my maternity on the 1st October, i can go any longer than that at all, i need to rest b4 he arrives, and im only three weeks away if i take it on the 1st, so if the financial worries arent sorted then there isnt anything i can do about it.
Yeah i see midwife every two weeks now, hes healthy and all good, head down which is lovely on the pubic bone!!!NOT! but id rather him be that way than breech, the midwife said i have more of a chnace of getting water bath s i have spd as i am NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES to be put in stirrups. OUCH!! Can you imagine that?!
So you thinking of having another one in 18 months??!!!
There aint no way im getting pregz again so quickly, i wouldnt be able to deal with it, im thinking 5 years, which is a decent gap.

His movements had slowed down actually - but nothing major, i was reading that at 31/32weeks he'll not be as frequent as he hasnt got as much room and hes more foetal position than ever, but when he does have a 'moment' he really goes for it. Lol.

Dont worry about the timescale on getting back to me, i know you have major priorities now, so its all good, whether the priorities are rhi or just sleep or catching up on housework, its fine. I can only imagine at the moment, but i have moments where i cant be bothered to come on here because im so knackered and im not even mummy full time yet.

The tubigrip works and its great, but its bloody hot as its soooo restricting so thighs constantly together rubbing, and its soooo thick that i just sweat,,,,proper sexual lip sweat going on when walking to work....mmmmmmm!!!!!!

Ill let ya know how the next midwife appt goes.

Wow first time alone, bet your were excited though too to have her all to yourself, or maybe not!Lol.
Yeah i know youll want to see a pic of the moses basket and i get a silver baby boy certificate holder thats gonna go on the wardrobe top.
Physio helped as far as i can tell, not got any exercises really, just pelvic floor to maintain muscle strength, btu i got support belt, and a tubigrip, which is like an unflattering version of a body shaper that pulls you in, the hips and pubic bone is pushed together so i cant seperate easily, i asked if the pubic bone can crack and she said yes as theres a ligament in the middle which i didnt know, i thought it was one piece of bone!!
I get good nights sleep but thats about 5 night of really bad sleeping, so the good sleep is due to the fact that im dead to the world and dont even wake up to pee until about 6am.
Its not a massive problem that you have to feed her formula, dont worry about it, at least she has had the colostrum which is the antibodies, and she'll get some good stuff from you for the next month or so. So long as shes healthy and content thats the main thing.
We went to cleethorpes sunday with steve and his lil sis, and i cant believe how much i walked, i was ok during the day becasue when ya munching on an ice cream and laughing and stuff its ok, but yesterday hit me hard and i knew that i overdid it. Well hurt yesterday, had to take meds, which i hated doing, felt like i was a junkie mother smacking up. Arrrgh, Hate it.
Her first Nanny card, bet your mum will love that.
Well babes im knackered after physio so im gonna have a lie down on the sofa and hopefully drift off to sleep.

Today went very quick for me as i left work at 5pm, should have been half 7 but we ran outta of client data and had no one to call. hahahahahhaha bonus and its bank hol so no work for me monday. got physio on tuesday so goin in then either!!!! Whoop whoop!!1
Yeah i was well gutted that i didnt have my boy to hold.I was talking to steve the other day and i said i know im gonna be totally bowled over when i see him and old him for the first time but i dont think ill ever be prepared for it,im telling people i have nine weeks to go instead of 2 months as thats sounds longer!!!! Lol
We havent got the moses yet, we are getting a blue one, with a car and 'BEEP BEEP' on it, steve liked it straight away and considering that i had more of a say on the nursery then its only fair really, and to be honest i was really happy that he was actually caring as in the beginning he was like ' yeah whatever' as i didn seem real to him but now i have uber bumpage and the scans and he can feel kicks hes into it now more and really excited!
Glad to hear youre dresing Rhi(hope you dont mind the abbreviation,tell me if you do) in proper clothing, Humphreys rock!!!!!!!!!!
I have an Humphreys Corner Lottie teddy that i bought when i went H.C mad but now ive realised hes a boy and it doesnt really work, and i would like to give it to Rhianna if thats ok. If you want it just message me your address and ill send it in the post.

2 women have been in work with their newborns and i have held them and everytime i have cried! Lol.
Bet it was well hard watching midwife cleaning Rhianna and stuff, i would hate that. But lets me honest its not lke she is even gonna remember it!!!
I want skin to skin straight away but ya never know what happens so im trying to be open minded and flexible as the book says!!!

Midwife said that it was normal and nothing to worry about, nothing to say hes coming early,
I have physio on Tuesday and get support belt so looking forward to getting some help with that.
Just wanting everything over and done with now as hes really heavy and i hold more water than a bloody camel!!!Lol.
Bet its ace you having a kid next to you, i had a dream last night that i had him in my arms and that made me wake up in a pretty good mood! Till i moved of course then reality hit ahahahahahahah!!!!!
Bet its well hard after a c-section- bless ya.

LoL I am almost sure its going to be the 25th now because I went to the Doctor yesterday and I am not even dialated a finger tip....it was so depressing to hear her say that lol...I was sure she was going to tell me 4 CM and baby is engaged lol. No luck though...so we are counting on Monday...I just hope its not a long 2 day induction seeing as I'm not even dialated a little bit.
I am so glad that everything is going so well for you and adorable baby Rhianna!!! We are going to try to breast feed...I think I am going to buy a pump to express as well...that way John can feed him too. I am on my way to the store...I have been going every day to get my butt out of this house. He needs to get here already! This last week feels like a million years. I'll keep you posted with what all is happening...but as for now...nothing lol.
