Hello, I haven't been online for a couple of weeks sorry.
We had a bit of a scare a couple of weeks ago and ended up getting an ultrasound which showed baby as being small for his dates & low amniotic fluid.
I had to get CTG's every 2nd day & on the 12 March the CTG showed that baby wasn't doing very well when I was having BH contractions so I was put in for an emergency C-Section.
Riley Thomas was born at 8.03pm on 12 March weighing 6 pounds 11 1/2 ounces, which is a lot bigger than the ultrasound showed.
He is very healthy & cute as a button!!
Today is day 4 at home and last night had the best night sleep so far!!

How is Tayla doing? Is she still a good girl?

Hey, how are you going? And little Tayla? How was the doctors? We had a crap night, charlotte slept 2 hours then 3 hours then 3 hours. I dont know why, but she use to sleep 3-5 hours between night feeds, i am getting so exhausted. Staying in bed today, watching whatever the midday movies is and maybe do the dishes, but thats it lol just need a break. What are you up to today? Box hill seems to be half way, do you know anywhere around there we could do lunch or coffee? take care luv

I can't believe it's been 6 weeks since you had Tayla is she still being a good girl??
We had a nice weekend - we went to the Knox Festival..I had been begging Jason to get me out of the house as I felt like I was going mad. Had a poker night at a friends house & I won for the 1st time woo hoo!!

Congrats! Yes, my babies came early too. Victoria was born first on Jan. 31st at 8:16 pm weighing 5 lbs and 10 oz then Richie Jr. came at 8:18 pm weighing in at 6 lbs and 1 oz. For twins they were a healthy size. They are precious. I can't believe our babes are finally here!

Hey oh that sounds bad about the nipple thing i hope it all gets better. Last night was crap, like ur night charlotte wouldnt settle after feeds and needed to be cuddled, she is up every 2 hours now and its so not fun. I cant wait until she is older and sleeps. Ben is back at work on monday and i am missing him already knowing he'll be gone. When i can drive we should meet somewhere for coffee. I have another mum with a 4 month old visiting me on monday. Im trying to build up some mummy friends. So hopefully her and i get on. Im pretty pooped today. How are you feeling? Midday movie is weird with demi moore, she is living 2 lives lol its interesting. xx lc

Hi. 3.4 kilos what a good little grower and 6 weeks today thats wonderful. Charlotte is well, she slept 4 hours then 3 hours and is now in her 3rd hour at the moment. So we had a good night, bottle didnt help though she took it and then within 1 hour wanted more from me, i think she likes the boob for the comfort. How are you today?

Hey love, how are you today? Did you have a good night? last night she was so much work, she cried every 1-2 hours and i just kept checking her nappy and feeding her and she still wasnt happy. Finally she has been sleeping well this morning. I just expressed and am going to bottle feed at night so its easier for her and for me and maybe ben can do it sometimes. During the day she is on the breast but at night she takes so long to feed and always falls asleep to quickly lol, so we'll see how that goes today. Yeah it'll be good to meet up with another new mum and talk bubby stuff. The good the bad and the ugly. lol... Take care I put more pix of her up on my page.

I was feeling a bit unwell on the weekend so had a lot of naps, though went out to the movies & dinner on Sat night we saw rendition which was actually a good movie (we though it would be a bit boring.
I finally have everything ready for baby to arrive so bring it on!!

Hey no i havent heard from mummynay. Yeah the blues are awful, so looking forward to feeling like my old self. I have been pretty good today. Yeah would be nice to catch up, lol unfortunetly wont be until i am 6 weeks along, i cant get any where atm. How is Tayla? Has much changed now that she is over a month old? I couldn't sleep last night so got up at 5am and watched a couple of episodes of Greys - kind of sad really lol.
Must be a good feeling having pants that are too big - I'm dreaming of that day!! I feel like I'm going to burst, I'm feeling soo uncomfortable now. Only 1 more class to go then bring on baby!!

I am really enjoying my 1st week at home, I do a little bit to get ready for baby to arrive each day then watch a couple of episodes of Greys Anatomy (my friend gave me the 1st 3 series to watch on DVD) I think I am becoming addicted LOL..

Hey there. She feeds for about 20 mins on one side then around 5-15 mins on the other side depending on how she feels. She sleeps 2.5-4 hours between feeds, so i feed about 5-7 times a day. Nipples were really sore and grazed but the nurse showed me how to hold her better, also my supply is very very high and my boobs kill, but i have to stick it out my body will adjust to her, with supply and demand. How about you?? feeding and sleeping??

Jason is getting excited & has been dragging me around the shops each weekend looking for baby stuff, which is nice but I'm ready to just relax now.

The class was good, I took my mum and she was pretty impressed. Watched a video on Caesarean births & went through the advantages & disadvantages of the diff drugs available.
Did you end up using any drugs??

I have put up curtians in the nursery (winnie the pooh)& have bought some wall stickers to put up also, I think I just have to wash everything and then it should be ready to go. (have the feeling i have forgotten something!)
Jason is getting 4 wisdom teeth out today so I guess I will be going to the ante-natal class tonight alone.

Hi, how are you? I am so sick of being pregnant!!! I am now 5 days overdue, and just waiting and waiting for something to happen. I am booked in at the hospital to be induced on Monday 18th coz they are booked up all this week. My specialist tried to get me in on Thursday which I thought would have been nice for valentines day, but no go. I honestly thought I would have had bubs by now, but I just tend to have late babies!!! Its ready to come, right down and everything, but is too comfy. I tell you what though, I'm not. Everytime I walk I feel like its going to fall out, the pressure down there is unbelievable... Anyways, how is Tayla settling in? And how are you liking motherhood? I love being a Mum, you have your days, but the good ones out way the bad ones easily!!! Brayden is loving school, no problems at all. Locky is getting too used to having me to himself, not for long though! Brayden started swimming lessons again on Saturday, he loves it. Anyway, I hope I have some news for you VERY soon. I got your pics, they are gorgeous. Tayla is a very very beautiful baby. My husband looked at them and he thinks that all newborns are ugly (isn't he mean!) but he even said that she is very cute!!! I'm feeling pretty good, this is my last week of work thank goodness!!
I hope I won't be bored with my 4 weeks off work, I still have to unpack all the baby stuff we have bought & set up the nursery so that should give me something to do.

Hey.. Yeah im ok, apart from the extremely tender pain around my groin, where the doctr was pushing and pushing to get my babie little bum and legs out of my pelvis. The docot was pushing sooo hard she even left scratches on my tummy. But she tried and was really motivating and good at it. But none the less this bubby wants me to do the caesar so i will. And yep 8 days till i get her!! How are you? I wanna see more pix of Tayla!!! xx

oh motherhood sounds like bliss. Yeah only 3 and a bit weeks but she could come early like urs. I hope lol, but my luck she'll be late. She is still breech, legs crossed and bent underneath her, pocking my cervix haha. I have a few things i need to do but we have everything for her, and bags packed so i cant wait. Im so glad and pleased you loving being a mum! Did u get the baby blues? if so how are you or did u cope? how is the healing too? im really scared of the painful stiches afterwards lol

lol yeah i guess my Its a Girl is a tad misleading. I only found out that its a girl in a US, still waiting to have her. 25 days to go. And she is still breech, lol cheeky girl. How is ur darling girl? Is it fun having her at home?
